    Very nice.

This little beauty was just delivered by the postie, via the sales corner!

My first ever Panerai. Always wanted to try one though.

Have to say, first impressions are ,I love it!

Cheers John, hope your Xmas is going well.

Only arrived a couple of hours ago, but initial impressions are very positive. Stunning looking thing, and the build and finish seem excellent.

As you said, a lot of watch for the money, especially as it has what is described as an in-house automatic movement with ‘true’ GMT, rather than a generic one such as a Miyota or similar. Whether that’s actually a good thing or not remains to be seen, I guess, but reviews seem good.

    Is that the 39mm?

I’ve been thinking about picking this up in 2024

Got the call for the IWC Ingenieur and went in to pick it up, came across this, it's a far better finished watch than the IWC and about £4k cheaper so a proper win win IMHO.

    Thinking man's Aquanaut lol.

Awesome. I got the ceramic big data chronograph and love it. Zenith are massively under appreciated in my opinion. Enjoy.

    Nice one Wes.

Mrs K has the 39mm and prefers it over her Rolex.

This arrived yesterday, and it won't stay, but it's a lot of watch!

Nice - but surely you've got to try it on one of these before it's rehomed... ?

Alcohol-related SC self-control FAIL! Just taken it off the bracelet and onto a blue FKM neo-Tropic.

Actually not regretting it - very well specced (NH35 / sapphire crystal / ceramic bezel / &c) and currently £89 brand new.

Wonder what the profit margins are in the supply chain at that price?

Fair point. I hate to think what sort of pay and conditions the Chinese workforce have to endure, nor indeed the kind of pollutants the factory will be dumping... Probably something we should all be giving more consideration to...

Have to say, this is a beautiful thing. It'll be keeping my 5513 company for the long term now.

Congrats but please do not post any pictures with the pip in place. I do NOT need to see that!

Lovely watch. Cant say why but something tells me it will be worn more than your 5513.

How nice of someone to give you tartan trews for Christmas (or perhaps Hogmanay?), Terence. What a thoughtful gift - is it a particular clan?
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Yes, it was. I love that you can dress them down (as I've done above) or dress them up.

Yeah, and I actually had no intention of buying another vintage Sub when it was listed. I just knew that, with my 5513, it would make an unbeatable pair and I couldn't resist it.

Saw in the window of Goldsmiths on NYE, tried it on, mulled it over, caved and walked back in to buy it today.

Thanks! I’m pretty chuffed. Need to find a suitable strap for it as sometimes it feels a bit much on the bracelet (though still looks awesome)!
