Well, I don't think is considered micro, but there is adjustment holes on the bracelet clasp and that seems to be enough for me to get a very good fit.

Panerai 590. My first PAM and loving it. Not sure why I didn’t go for one earlier, maybe the size, but this 44mm works for me.

    Thanks again to Richard (Swatch).

Got mine a week ago and have worn nothing else since. I reckon it’s a near perfect watch!

I’d been looking to fill the zenith shaped hole in my collection when Paul (Cat7) popped up a trade offer of the zenith cp2. I was really hesitant about the size- because notionally it is 43mm- but decided to meet with Paul and give it a shot. And wow. I don’t think I’ve worn a watch so ergonomically well designed, the lugs curve around the wrist and the weight helps it sit perfectly on the wrist. Wears a bit like a speedy pro but I prefer the design and appreciate (and use) the pilot bezel. Totally love it

I only put a speculative bid in and was irritated when no one outbid me. It took an inordinately long time to arrive from The Netherlands which irritated me some more. Finally received it today (after a day of worrying that it might have disappeared due to it being delivered to my work address at the weekend). All my irritations have faded away.

An Iaxa Electronic 350. If the forum search function is to be believed this is only the fourth time that Iaxa have been mentioned here. It has an ESA 9150 Dynotron (another cool name) electronic movement. The lovely champagne sunburst dial is in better condition than I expected. And I really like the shape of the case. We'll see how well it keeps time over the next few days.

Apart from the strap the only thing I am unsure of is whether or not the crystal is original. The profile doesn't look right but I could be wrong.

Note to self: stop buying watches, I really need to get a few serviced.

One of my all-time favourites, as you say, brilliant lugs and like a slightly butch Speedy. In truth, it’s superior to the Speedy in several ways, but minus the history. Lovely dial and a seriously under-rated chronometer. Just feels great on the wrist, and with the El Primero movement. I’ve had three. Mustn’t buy another, but anyone wanting to complement a Speedy should take a close look. One of Zeniths best recent creations, to me anyway.

Tried one of these on at Goldsmiths a few weeks back.

It does wear really well due to the relatively short lug to lug dimension.

Looks really nice on you Ric.

This is my favourite watch of a small but growing collection, so well designed and executed. I do wonder what a version in a precious metal might be like, say a rose gold.

Nicely done! I was watching that one, thinking it looked nice but I’ve got one too many ‘project’ watches already. I’m glad it all works, must be one of the best around.

Thought you might have been! I could see in the pics it was running and as they were a house clearance type place I gambled they hadn't even checked the date change.

There were a couple of nasty gouges out of the crystal but they polished out nicely and the rest of it is almost perfect. For some reason these are often in poor condition.

This was the only one I had seen with the arrowhead markers but low and behold there is another on ebay now, 50s I think with dauphin hands. The dial is nicer in real life it is not just painted but subtly textured so the inner or outer rings swap between grey or white depending on the way the light hits it.

I reckon you’re right! Would love to see what it looks like on the wrist.

There’s been some stunning watches in this thread since last time I looked but that really is very nice indeed. I’ve been scouring the Bremont website ever since I saw your post an hour or so ago.

I really, really, really mustn’t buy anymore watches (for a bit ).

    Congratulations on your purchase!

From what I know of the white snow fake the differences are

This is steel vs ti. This is leather/deployant vs bracelet. Both spring drive and dial layout the same, this is a light blue vs white but same pattern. I think the cases are slightly different and this is 40mm vs 41 on the white

There’s a certain charm to the Captain Cook. I have a Rado, they are very well made watches.

    What size did you get?

This is the 37.3mm. It’s incredibly comfortable and has a far better wrist presence than my mid size Seamaster and none of the top heaviness of the SKX013.
