Not very exciting but ever since I sold my last GMT Master to Mick P I've been looking for another.

Nice clean 2005 model and in this crazy market not a bad price.

Guess that means no Deep Black or AP diver for me.

A bloody LandMaster - I’ve had many many Seikos, starting from when I was 10 years old, every shape and size, but never one of these.....
    A little bit excited, kid-like!

Should be with me by the weekend if all is well!

Picked this up last Saturday, after waiting just under a year from my local Goldsmiths. Currently not worn anything else apart from my G Shock on my daily bike commute.

Absolutely over the moon with it still.

Cracking watch, sometimes I wonder if I should've said yes a few years ago instead of my Panerai.

Thanks for the +ve comments, it was the only option for me.

I really don't like the cyclops and the deepsea is too large for my chicken wrists.

    I'm in total love!

I keep thinking I must try one of these. I had a pre ceramic and didn't like it, it felt tinny and insubstantial to me, and the gmt2 felt small to me.
Despite all that I keep hankering after a sub. Might prefer a date tho.

I've recently sold my date and going to go for the non-date, really liking the clean look. I had the chance of buying both when I bought my date one in Nov 17. In hindsight etc etc....

Picked this up on Monday and been wearing ever since. My second Doublematic - the level of complexity and complications in this watch are fantastic

Really! Doesn't make sense as they have only been out 5 years or so, and are a great looking, timeless, classy watch.....wonder if it's anything to do with the chase on Tudor and that these dress watches aren't the image they now want?

Had this for a couple of weeks now and forgot to post.

A deal with Adam, from this very hood, and treated myself to a snoopy and deployant.

    A very happy fella.

Bought Oris two month ago, sold two weeks later because of I found very nice Omega de ville. Couple of days ago got a message from friend I sold it if I want it back. Of course I want and now I have it again.

I couldn't let this go for under £30 so put a bid in.

Colourful enough to be good summer watch.

Turns out that it has 16 fewer jewels than the description claimed and it certainly hadn't been recently serviced as it is bit temperamental. After a few choice words I was given a credit note on my next purchase.

It looks like I am going to become intimately acquainted with a pin pallet movement in the near future.

    Still, not bad for £29.

I'm delighted to have an original Speedbird PRS-1 in the fold, having twice previously been custodian of the third iteration. I love the legibility and simplicity of the no-date version and this one will be a keeper, forever associated with the rather wonderful manner in which it came to me.

Tried it last November at a Rolex evening and then said I wanted one 11th March this year, so not too long to wait.

Thank you, tbh I went today to collect but wasn't 100% sure as it had been a while since I tried it, soon as I saw it any apprehension went out the window. Not normally a Rolex fanboy but I think this model is pretty close to perfect.

How long was the wait if you don’t mind me asking? I’m 50 in just over 2yrs and think I’d like this as a present to myself if dates worked (and earlier would be good anyway!)

*EDIT. Ignore all that. Sorry missed your reply above. Not too bad then so will look into this.

  36. #7436
Picked one of these up last week, bit of an impulse purchase, hadn't been looking for one but once I'd handled it & felt the quality I couldn't pass it up. The mesh is quality & the finish of the whole watch is of an extremely high standard.

So far loving the retro style.

They seem to be filtering through to OB now. I am 6th on the list at mine in Manchester. They have received x 1 now of x 32 they have been allocated .... all sold and over subscribed. Are you “over the moon” with it ? looks great.

Have to say these look a lot better from the real life pictures I have seen compared to the marketing shots that were released. It’s a grower!
