Thanks and agreed, that was a really well executed complication. At the same time as the diver 65 I order a 39.5mm Aquis and am waiting on delivery as no one had it in stock. Can’t wait for it to turn up as I’ve not seen one in the flesh yet.

I am presently quite unreasonably excited at the prospect of getting my mitts on something quite special. High-accuracy quartz, GMT, and something I've been hankering after since it was launched.

Picked up a NOS SBDX017 a couple of months ago and was struggling with the bracelet for weight and comfort.

Tried a Crafter Blue and it’s a game changer. On a 6.75inch wrist:

Never owned one of theses despite it being firmly on the bucket list.

Always hesitated though as I thought I wouldn’t be able to carry off the chunkiness.

This looks a good combo, a thumbs up from me.

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Looking forward to an incoming tomorrow, can’t say no a couple will likely have to go after this pickup.

Got the call this afternoon for a Submariner 126610LV.

The required Wrist shot will be forthcoming.

Thanks. I would definitely give one a go unless your wrist size is 6.5inches or less. The case is a little wider than the bezel, that and the dial size being quite small makes it wear smaller than you think.

Prices have increased somewhat on used models though. Historically they do get flipped quite a bit but I suspect those with the old style ‘Marinemaster’ dial versions will be holding on to them now.

This is my 4th one! I always loved the watch but could never find a strap that suited it and was comfortable for me other than a nato. Problem with the nato was that just made an already tall watch a bit taller. The Crafter Blue has solved that issue. Better late than never I guess...

I need to size the bracelet, but first impressions are far, far better than this quick and dirty iPhone photo. I’m genuinely excited to have this, I love high accuracy quartz and the 9F GMT has been lurking in my “want” list since Seiko launched it.

Congrats. I have had the same model now for 15 months and it has gained just one second in all that time.

That’s encouraging! The best I have is my Skywalker X-33, which has consistently given me +7 seconds a year.

(I mean, obviously the radio controlled G-shocks are better but that is cheating. Sort of.)

Not the usual “experience” but sized and handed over at the Door

Initial thoughts are if I can get the ND to replace the maxi case I certainly will.

Well done, looks great. I'm not jealous at all...

I'm hoping for the same. The LV and then to replace my 2018 no date with the new 41mm.

Looks great, congrats! How did they size it ‘at the door’? Did you or your arm enter the shop?

?? fingers crossed it won’t be too long for you, I didn’t think it would be a difference enough to change but in the metal agree it is.

I hope not, but let's see. I've also bought four but they have been very good re allocations so I'll wait patiently. They know I'm not going anywhere else!

Glad its gone to a good home! I know it sounds crazy after selling it but I can see myself buying another one in the future

ps, I think the blue dial has the red hand and the black has the orange hand..

I really wanted a Navigator but sadly the Eddie Platts Sunday shoot-out thwarted me. This will have to fill the military reissue gap for the time being.

It's gained 2 seconds 48 hours so not too shabby.

Mine arrived yesterday, so seems like they’re coming through now. And my order status never changed from “not yet processed” so I wouldn’t go by that too much.

    Very impressed with the watch...

I am sure you have all seen one of these before but after a long old wait I finally collected this at the AD doorstep this morning.

Still pinching myself after getting a call yesterday afternoon a little earlier than I had been led to believe.

Been searching for ages for the right strap as an alternative to the bracelet on my SAR and due to the lug shape and configuration it hasn’t been easy.
This arrived a couple of weeks ago a notched SteveO strap and for me is the perfect alternative.

I had this for sale BNIB on SC, took the watch out of the plastic bag to take a better pic and the dial then presented its beauty. So I'm keeping it. Same watch, different light. Just look at the dial changes depending on the light!
