It’s actually brand new. This is the new just released 42mm model. Boutique only and 500 units, not even on the website yet as official launch is next month I think.

Arrived this morning. Addiesdive Flieger, which as far as I know is the same company as Steeldive. You can choose a logo or sterile dial, the handset is randomly either Flieger or IWC Mk XII style. Came in a decentish Pelicase-style box with instructions, guarantee card and hang tag. All the strap options are the same price, but as the online reviews of the leatherette straps and metal bracelets are less than complimentary I chose a 5 ring Zulu style Nato, which is actually rather nice quality. I've put the watch on a leather strap for now.

Seiko NH35 auto movement with hacking, manual winding and quickset date. Screw-down crown. Insanely bright lume. Allegedly 200m water resistance.

Delivered in 12 days from China. 60 Euros all-in, no duty to pay.

My bad, didn't look closely, assumed it was a 671. I think I prefer that script on the dial.

Really good to see such a rarity stay on the forum. If I hadn't just bought the DC56, I don't think I could have resisted. Enjoy!

I think you are becoming a Damasko hoarder Paul. Lol.

Are Damasko bracelets Tapered to the clasp?

I’d need to get yours (my old one) back for that
Bracelet is 22mm and non tapered, should fit your one as well although there were some issues on early ones where bracelet wouldn’t fit.

Was the magnification better back in the day? or is that just exaggerated in your image? Looks yuge.

Big day for Rolex - and includes two new Submariners... here's hoping production is ramping up just a little bit. I must say I love the 12 series proportions, including the big clasp

Whilst 10 years ago I loved excess of 40mm my taste now is that Rolex especially subs shouldn’t exceed 40mm and those big clunky clasps are oris esque!

Having just sold my Navigator with the comment that I should know better after having had about 6 TF watches that I never keep them... ...two more have arrived this morning.

In response to my wtb for a CWC quartz diver/Zeno PRS-3 and CWC GS I was offered and bought this:

    And I bought a sapphire G10 instead:

I nearly pulled the trigger on one of the G10’s on Sunday - what do you think of it?

Blown the budget on this one but it's very nice.

Won't have time to size the bracelet for a while so straight onto a handy Barton Elite. Super comfy though the colour may not to be everyone's taste.

The quality seem to be there Graham and on this one the second hand hits the markers with no kickback, which is a huge boon to me. I think I sold the last one (it was nearly 9 years ago) cuz of being non-sapphire and the second hand hitting everywhere except the markers with lots of kickback.

Brilliant. Sounds like they are great value then. Strikes me as the perfect ‘beater’ (even though I dislike that term)
