I was debating wether to put this in Incoming/New Arrivals or Show Us Your G-Shocks but here, my new G-Shock GST-W100G that I picked up this afternoon.

Had a hankering for a G-Shock a few years ago but bought an Apple Watch instead. Finally returned to the metaphorical itch, and scratched it!

Very pleased to get the call yesterday after 3 months wait! Decided to go for the leather strap and order the steel bracelet separately. Bit of haggling with the AD and managed to get the package for a bit more of the cost of the bracelet version.

Incredibly comfortable on the wrist and such a wonderful look!

Has it arrived yet? I was watching that because the BIN price looked pretty keen, so you did well. Just shows what happens if you hesitate! Nice to know it's in the forum now - increases our chances when you sell on...

I have been a bit late with posting some of my new watches over the past year. I have been spending money renovating the home my mother lives in as well as adding new stuff to my own home. Gets a bit crazy at times including this morning at 7:30 AM when the final window upgrades were completed.

    So -

My Yema Superman Swell, a gift from Thunder1. I have since ordered a heritage blue dial from Yema as well.

Vintage Yema which is currently at watch repair shop

    Glycine Combat

    Glycine Combat Sub in Bronze

    Eterna Eternity

Gevril Generation 1 now for sale

Another Bulova Lunar Pilot (ordered a new sailcloth strap for it)

Longines Big Date (Master Collection) purchased from Thunder1

    Bulova Oceanographer

And I found this old thing in a box in the storage shed. Now gifted to my youngest grandson Josh.

Damn, forgot this one, Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Reveil Globe MP6388

    Just received this today...
Actually found one in stock at retail...
Biggest box ive ever seen for a watch..
Was going to keep it stickered as I thought it would be an investment piece.. but the combination of black and gold and the red tip of the second hand.. i know some think its cheesy but I love the actual look and quality.. so going to wear it and forget about getting a black gold submariner.

Really like that - especially the red accents which I guess was part of the bespoke look?

In this instance I cobbled the image above together (probably wholly unnecessary but kinda satisfying), typed my request into google translate, and emailed Damasko sales ( sales@damasko-watches.com ) and asked if they could do it. I then braced myself for either no-response-at-all, a curt "no", or a doubling of the standard price.

They responded within the hour with "yes" and an additional charge of just Eu50!

Worth noting that as per the usual, bespoke items cannot be returned if you have a change of mind.

Zackly - I wasn't keen on the green version, have too many orange tinted watches already, and felt the all-white version didn't make the chrono hands sufficiently conspicuous.

I also wanted the "castellated" bezel from the DC66/7 range, marked with hour increments, so I can set it to track hours alongside the minutes and seconds.

    Really happy with the effect.

    ---

Forgot to mention - lead time is 4-6 weeks.

Indeed. Except half the price. And they still make it. And the crown+pushers are on the correct side!

    Ooooooo controversial! :-)

The DC82 has the date at 4 o’clock. I noted your mockup was based on the DC80. Just thought I’d mention it.

This has been on my Wanted list for some time. A Seiko 6138 'jumbo', arrived today from a listing on SC. It needs a service to get it up to everyday wear but it's in good condition for its age, with the original crystal unmarked and the case crisp and unpolished. I'll be looking for a period correct metal bracelet in due course. Overall I'm very happy to get it for the price I paid.

Congrats - I have a 3002 and it is a fantastic watch! I did have the correct bracelet some years ago (I had a 'backup' 3002..) but found it to be a bit of a hair puller. It resides on a custom black and yellow stitched Toshi - a bit chunky, but works well with the size of the 3002. One of my favourite in my collection, so enjoy it once it's been serviced!

Thanks, I imagine the yellow stitching goes well with the yellow hands. From what I've read, the correct Seiko bracelet can be very hard to come by.

This Ricoh 700m arrived on Friday. Made in late 70s or 1980, powered by a Ricoh 5 jewels quartz movement 590. The watch case is made of titanium, the crystal is a mineral/hardlex crystal afaik and comes with a screw down crystal retaining ring. It's large and heavy and very similar in size to the vintage Seiko 600m Tunas.
