I like this model with the green. I have asked my ad for one! Fingers crossed. I wont hold my breath though.

Congratulations to your wife on starting up her own business.
Not usually a green dial person, but it does work in this case.
Incidentally, saw exactly the same model - 41mm 2020 model, in an antique shop in Winchester, obviously pre owned but BNIB and the price was 6,000!!
1,300 over MRSP, I can't believe that even the lovely but basic Rolex OP is now commanding a premium!

Slightly less crap photo than when it arrived... day 2 on the wrist (apart from this photo!)

The epitome of a tool watch. Is that a Hirsch Robbie it's on?

That is absolutely stunning. Lovely fade building up on the lume, but the dial is still pretty crisp.

    Congrats...

    114270 Explorer

Courtesy of Warren (Wazza) for replying to my wtb. A 2009 114270 to compliment my Smiths PRS25. The photo is a combination of incoming and "what beer are you drinking", well it is a Friday evening.

How do you like the white SM Vs the black you had before? I've always liked the black on bracelet and the white on rubber but the white looks good on the bracelet in that pic.

Personally I find the black just a little bit boring - a bit like the standard submariner, so prefer this version. But I also have the silver dial with blue bezel / rubber (below), and that is a more difficult decision.

To me this is a great but flawed watch. The bracelet looks a bit fussy, but is actually really good and has great micro adjustment. The rubber is on a buckle rather than deployant (I assume to differentiate between this and the planet ocean), and I dislike buckles.

The dial on the silver is sunburst which I love, but the white is flat ceramic - still very nice, but not as nice as the silver.

You can tell I have thought about this a lot 😂

Tried one on last year and was really disappointed to see it wouldn't fit. Have an electric blue Ti SMP with sword hands and a black SMPc, it would've made a nice addition!

Thanks for your thoughts. I just tried on the white on rubber 30 mins ago while picking up a BB58 for someone here. Bracelet is really good but I don't like the design of it. It's not terrible and is very comfortable, it just doesn't seem to suit the SM, a bit fussy for what is meant to be a dive I think.

I don't mind the buckle but a deployant would be better. I didn't see the blue but will try and have a look next time I see one. 4,170 on rubber is a bit rich imo but I'm sure you didn't pay the RRP and they are nice watches.

Similar thoughts to me then. TBH, the rubber is fine when it is on the wrist - in fact it is excellent, but I dont like having to bend it so much when putting on and taking off for something that is so expensive, I feel like I will wear through in no time. And no - I didnt pay near that for either 😉

The white seamaster is a stunning watch and if i didn't have a Polar Explorer 42mm this would have been added to my collection.

I love the new seamaster so much that a black face replaced my SD43 which i couldn't get on with.

I agree about the rubber and also the fact the bracelet is a little fussy but i can live with a slight compromise.

Love the white but I think the silver is my favourite variant. Congrats.

I'm an Omega fan boy, but the KC Ristmons needs a mention. I love these and would really like to try one (either Joker or Dracula). What are your thoughts on the watch?

There are a lot of variations out there now - I think the latest is the Mouse King. I think the colouring and idea of the original Joker - especially to get the best of the textures of the white face and the red tongue and lips.

The quality and finishing is superb, and it wears very well. It is easy to tell the time - probably means you need to look at the watch for about a second longer than a traditional 2 hander, but that is no hardship.

The watch brings a smile to my face (must be like looking in a mirror when reading the time), in a world of excellent quality but very samey watches (such as the omega), and eye watering prices of Rolex Sports (which I also own and enjoy), this puts the fun back into the hobby

Different AD. Good job really as I sold the Daytona earlier this week.

Lovely thing, but wasn’t really me.

Collected today, and I have to say that I’m rather pleased with the new case size and overall look. I know the differences are minor, but when I had the original SubC there was no getting away from the fact that the lugs looked slightly out of proportion to the rest of the watch.

I think this version corrects that, and looks better balanced.

Thanks! I'm not a fan of the Mouse, Clown or Halloween models. Not even the Ti Joker, just the two I mentioned. I'll definitely give it a go at some point. Let me know if you ever think of selling.

Ive always been a fan of a white face Milgauss and picked this up from Snoodles at the weekend.

Probably not the right time of year for the summer strap but I like it

That looks a superb watch strap combination. Im sure the white faced Milgauss will develop into a classic.

My first Eddie, a Smiths PRS-28 "Radio Room". This watch is my first three hander, first really colourful watch and first time wearing a watch on a NATO. I must say its a superb watch and I like the utilitarian link to the past.

There are a couple in Europe, but otherwise need to go to Russia - will have to look at the secondary market, as these were produced in low numbers, and now onto something else
