I’ve been thinking about one of those (Montre Royale Manuelle blanc opalin) but at 42mm it seems on the large size for that style of watch. 39 or 40mm would have been less clock-like. But I’ll try to see one before I rule it out

Yes, it does seem surprising to me that they are not far better better known than they are.

Perhaps it's a good time to get themselves into some independent ADs now that some are losing their Rolex franchise!

Not here yet but I’ll get it next week - figured with Rolex price collapse I should buy another and best make it a less popular model maybe a DJ and yeah smooth bezel as it’s less desirable and in a nice polarizing green.
    Can’t wait

I was looking at the used one on watchmaster for a bit, researching the brand etc and those manual winds are really well priced for what they are but they have just 2 ADs here in the UK that are out in the middle of nowhere and have extremely limited purchasing options in both available models and payment methods.

They need to sort that out if they are going to get any traction over here, even Norqain is available in goldsmiths!!

If someone was to consider one, I'd imagine they'd fret quite a bit over how and where to service that unique movement!

Took me by surprise, genuinely the most comfortable I have. Sits so nice on the wrist. It looks like a lump but its a dream on and to live with.

Wears alot easier and nicer than DSSD or any AP diver.

Just looking at all these lovely new incomings and starting to feel a bit frustrated with myself, my last arrival was nothing special and that was back in February, before that it was a big purchase in March 2021.

Im quite happy with my collection but feel I want something new but not sure what I want and I don’t like selling anything on, I need to sort myself out!

Patience dearheart, The Great Rolex Price-Crash of 2022™ is on its way - they'll be putting them in Christmas crackers come December

(Tough tits if you don't want a Rolex of course - Timex will be in the £five-figures soon, honest...)

Very nice! I’m on the waiting list for one of these but no real indication of when I might get one (hopefully fairly soon). How do you find it wears?

    So that went well.

Now rejected and returned for refund as the hands do not return to 12 when resetting. Disappointed but it’s an omen, I should continue to wait for my white face. Daytona.

Hopefully you will get yours soon.

Wears lovely, the new clasp with the adjustments makes is a lot better than the BB58, depth is good for me too

Junghans Max Bill 38mm auto. Purchased one of these last night. Always wanted one but had been concerned about the anti scratch coating on the plexi glass meaning the ability to use polywatch to polish out scratches was a big issue. They come in sapphire now and I will be super excited to get my hands on this next week.

That's a shame as I liked the black on white dial.

Sadly had to let go of the MM300 but this rather lovely enamel-faced Presage has taken its place in the watch box. Very hard to capture the beauty of the dial with my rudimentary camera skills but, here you go....
