After all, this is not an inexpensive watch but I think it easily competes with watches in similar price brackets.

This particular watch is a good size (for me) at 40mm with 48mm lug-to-lug and less than 11mm tall. It wears true to these dimensions and of course it's very light.

The blue is a bit brighter than I expected but it offsets the lume very well and it appears 'backlit' as it reflects the available light. The lume is excellent, as expected.

Thanks - I'm sorely tempted TBH!

Weird seeing a CWC on a bracelet, but it works well with the white dial because a white dial on a RN diver is strange as well

Thanks . I was left a modest bequest earlier this year . When spending advice is sought on this forum in such circumstances the normal suggestions are either "coke and hookers" or "buy some nice watches "

Being too straight , old and married for the former I elected to add this , the DRSD and Comex to my modest collection

    Cheers

Well built and the dimensions work really well. Extremely comfortable. Nice large digital window.

3 things I was concerned about:

Lack of seconds hand - not actually a problem for me as I much prefer the sweep of an auto which obviously this wouldn’t have. If you really need to see the seconds they can be displayed digitally.

Lack of back light- most digital watches are a pain to use the functions in the dark anyway as you keep on having to press the light (Timex excluded). The lume is really good, especially on the hands and lasts through the night so you have the main function in the dark anyway.

Handset shape and colour - i would have preferred white and maybe without the ‘pointy bit’ on the counter balance side. In reality they work well.

With the early discount I think it was about £380 shipped with taxes which for me was worth it as there aren’t many ani-digi options under £500, and although I love and had an Arnie, the movement has several reported issues.

Glad I bought it, I think the price now is around £420 shipped and taxes. Still worth it IMO.

Thank you. It looks great and for less than £450 it’s almost a no brainer
