    Really nice dial colour.

I also got a call earlier today to collect an OP36 I registered interest in recently.

Back in September last year I mentioned to my AD that it was my 50th birthday this April, and a new watch would be a nice way to mark this milestone. They said "well, have you considered an SD43? It's the 50th anniversary edition, so a nice link with your birthday". Yes, I know you could argue that only 2017-built items were actually the true 50th anniversary units, but I'm not that picky! So I lodged my interest and expected to hear very little. So very surprised to get a call on Friday saying a watch had arrived in time for my birthday which was just a few days away. Collected yesterday and very very happy with it. Extremely impressed with the store too - be it by pure luck or somehow engineered that way, they made it a very memorable half century week for me.

Thanks buddy. They seem to only do this in 18 or 20mm, I was after a 19mm and am beginning to understand the frustration of this lug width.

Approx 7” give or take the time of day and not at all. I tried a 41mm back in Feb and found for me that it was not quite my cup of tea.

Finally got a hold of this at the weekend, having been kept with a friend for a while. Really pleased, I'd been searching for a manual winding one since trading my auto a few years ago. Lovely thing:

These are lovely. A really simple but function chronograph. A nice twist on a type A.

Really nice, looks great. Subdial had a black, navy and white appear on the same day the other week. Shocking redesign decision by IWC. This is infinitely better.

The hype on these last year. Very likely they'll be worth more in the next year.

Congrats! How are you finding the weight of these? Whenever I've tried it on, it's definitely been heavy on the wrist. Why I've liked my AMG version, due to it being Ti. But on bracelet, this does look better!

Cheers. I was quite surprised by the weight initially as it didn’t look like it would weigh much being 40mm and 10mm thick, case construction makes it look fairly svelte. It’s the soft iron cage inside that is adding to it I believe. I do like the heft though, feels quite tangible and dense.

    Great dial colour.
I really want a U50 with an interesting dial colour. The limited edition blue was nice but I'd like a diver with something different more along the lines of the limited 556 releases. They have all sold out so hopefully that prompts Sinn to branch out a bit more with their others, rather than the sporadic and very limited editions of the past.

Yep. I only sold last time as I lost my mind on the Rolex train. Glad I am out of all that now! So glad I managed to get it back.

Thanks, really is a nice colour. I do like the new Blue U50 also.

Looking at those colourful 556s they did release I expect you might be in luck at some point.

Gotta get me one of these…. They look like they’re tough as nails. Might give up the speedy dream if I can find the 103s in this configuration.
