Congrats getting it back the way vintage prices went up a few I let go I can't afford to buy back even if I get a chance. Nice watch I can see why you missed it.

But isn’t 11.8mm as thin as it gets for modern diver?

It was too thick for my tastes. Less slab sided and the Tudor would have won the battle against the MM300. At some point I'll try another, possibly the blue.

I was going to say the same. Looks like a 41mm not the bb58 blue in the original photo. BB58 wears lovely, not slab sided at all. 3mm difference between the 41mm and 39mm.

No, BB41. The BB58 is too small for me. Excuse the crude crop.

A couple of beauties from Orient- Orient star divers which I would take over most of similarly priced Seikos.

I like those, got to admit I've never really given Orient much attention, that might have to change.

Thanks gents. Very happy so far and I can't stop looking at it which is always a good sign!!! I didn't quite get the discount I was hoping for but I promised myself that I'll sell my Damasko DS30 to 'bridge the cost gap' so to speak so that'll be on SC shortly...

You’re right, can’t beat them. Always had a soft spot for a Seamaster and these are both great :-)

Nice, I just picked up an 009 recently. There's a 6309-7040 for sale locally to me for £220 but it looks a bit battered.

I’ve just ordered this Zelos Horizons, 39mm, lumed sapphire dial & bezel, 200m WR, slim case with bi-directional 12 hour bezel, bracelet with tooless micro adjust and quick release spring bars. Interested to get my hands on it, read good things on Zelos but have no experience of them.

Lovely. I owned this exact model so not technically the first on the forum but probably the only one still on the forum. It is best in evening lighting conditions- it really comes to life then. Superb watch

I did wonder if he'd bought it from you as it looked like one of your photos.
