Just on my way back from London after picking up a very special Linde Werdelin. Not for everyone's tastes but a beautifully made time piece none the less.

Absolutely a guilty pleasure, but it was dirt cheap for a bit of 18k rose gold cap and a column wheel!

    The dial pattern is lovely.

That watch is something special. What do you think of it compared to your previous gold Lw?

I still have my other rose gold LW so can draw a direct comparison.
The case itself is very similar with real top end finishing on both. The open worked chronograph does take it up a notch and it also has an open case back to admire as well. Both are much better in the flesh than in photos, the depth of the dial is just mesmerising.

I can see that. The open dial om the chrono is indeed a step up. The watch is indeed something else en special. Well done!

Picked this up today - will be buying another strap or two for when I don't want to look as... neon.

That's fantastic. I don't think I could carry off the look (nor the price!), but I love it.

After years of waiting, I'm very happy to have finally landed a last-of-the-line and now discontinued 116500, especially as I find it preferable in looks to the new 126500. (has anyone seen one in the metal yet?)

I collected my Seamaster Bond 60th last night from the local Omega Boutique.

Very pleased with it, lovely shade of blue and the bracelet is quite comfortable.

Congrats! I agree - that blue is fantastic. Wear it in good health 👍

Fab watch! Congrats! I think all SMPs should be on mesh now.

This one came pretty much out of nowhere for me.

Not a new watch but rather a new strap. Having picked the watch up on SC a few weeks ago, the OEM rubber strap arrived. Like it even more now.

Picked up my DSSD last week, got some photos then and haven’t taken it off since. Loving it, cant believe how comfortable it wears.

Would you mind sharing how much the strap was? My dad has this watch and I think he’d like a strap like this for summer

No problem - from Longines, it was £110 + £4.80 postage.

If you don’t want to spend that much, exact same strap with deployant on Ali Express for peanuts.

Thank you! Yes, I had to be quick on the draw for this one!

I really like it! It's good quality for the price with a surprisingly decent bracelet which has quick adjust via a button in the clasp. The dial is the best bit though - the layout and proportions are excellent and there's a tiny bit of colour in the markers. It's a really good release.

So wish they did this dial in the 42mm 358. The 38mm 356 is just too much of a tiddler! Gorgeous though.

    This just arrived!
Really pleased with it... the quality is excellent for the price.
I really want a mm300 but was worried about the size so this is a try before I buy.
The size is ok but it is heavy!!!

Very good quality, saphire crystal , water resistant with a Seiko NH35 movement all for £60.
It came on a bracelet that is also good quality that I have used on something else.
I now have 4 Pagani design watches that all resemble another brand at 1% of their cost.
    Amazing value.

Only did the expression etc. in the first week of May but got a call last week to say they have one in, don’t know if I got first refusal but don’t care. If ever I needed a one watch collection his would be it. The new crown size is a welcome change, I don’t have big hands but I’ve lost some dexterity getting older so it’s much appreciated.

posted this in the holiday watch thread… got it 13 days ago

Pretty cheap (€323) 9039 running great (+1spd) stuck a £30 eBay glidelock bracelet on it. Lume is amazing..

At 38mm and 47mm I’m not sure I’ve ever had a watch fit my (6.9”) wrist with better proportions makes my 40mm watches feel clunky…

Straight up sub homage, yet with the pleasing (to me) lack of crown guards and the minute marks are enclosed in a circle (dial has a ‘snowflake’ pattern too)

  48. #19048

New to me but obviously not 'new'.

August 1978 Seiko Grand Quartz with the 9943 twin quartz movement (one for timing, one as a thermocompensator, +/- 10spy!) and beautiful snowflake dial.

My first Panerai in about 15 years - 514:

And found this ammo-style 26mm strap in the box from all those years ago:
