    One will survive!

Going round in circles with my collection and realising that it is too big I need to have a rethink and trim it down. 3 divers that need no introduction but unfortunately none has managed to get on my wrist in the last few months. There are pros and cons to each piece but if only one can stay, which one will it be?

I would opt for the Omega - classic styling.

I would keep the seamaster. Looks a more versatile option to me.

How could ever part with that Ulysse Nardin, I love the styling and rarity of this diver.

For me its an easy choice, the UN is the one to keep because of its styling and as others have said the rarity over the other 2, both of which could be easily replaced.

The UN is a bit odd and the Omega a little boring. Keep the Tuna

Omega for me. Others look too bulky and not as versatile.

  14. #14
    Seamaster.

Leaving aside all notions of branding, rarity and attempts at individuality, you can count on the fingers of one hand the companies that get the divers watch just right - one of them is Omega.

    Seamaster, the others are ridiculous.

Retire the bracelet for a while and buy a selection of different coloured NATOs to wear it with.

For an extra ten style points, buy NATOs that go with your outfit.

Seamaster every time. That tuna looks ghastly and the UN looks cheap

A WTB on here would get you a Tuna, or Seamaster within days.

    Not so for the UN.

    That would be my reasoning.

  22. #22
Definitely the seamaster, it's one I want too :-)

Hate the scalloped bezel, don't like the bracelet, don't like the wave dial, don't like the case shape, can't stand the hands.
I know im in an absolute minority and that all taste is subjective (and mine is generally very dull) but they look dated, and not in the classic sense.
Sorry to those who like them but they really are one of my pet hates.

Sell all three then, and buy something you'd want to wear!

The obvious answer! A Blancpain FF, the new Sea-Dweller ceramic or the AP Diver. Or even an Aquatimer or 8500 Seamaster, some great divers about at the moment.

You haven't worn any of them in three months. Bin em all.

    And stop asking silly questions.

Agreed UN is just to good to go...I'd keep that one for sure.

I would go for the UN because you don't see it every day. The Tuna is too big (though I covet one myself!) and the Seamaster is too common (though I love mine).

I would get rid of them all if they aren't being worn, but if I had to keep one it would be the Seamaster

nice as the other two are,got to be the seamaster..

  35. #35
Keep the UN it looks way better than the other two and it would definitely be the hardest and most expensive to replace. If you sold it and then missed it , then a direct replacemnt would be a harder search

Sorry, but another vote for the Seamaster. The Tuna might be a WIS favourite but really it's just silly, and the UN looks too cluttered to me.

Having said all that, maybe you'd be better off selling all of them and buying something different. You'll feel much better about it once you've posted the For Sale ads.

Have to say for me that would be the most sensible approach.

Me too - the UN may be rarer but to my eye it's not a looker. The Omega is on the wrong bracelet and ubiquitous.

and in the grander scheme of things 13 in a dozen look-all-alike.
The other two are way more individual.
As the Tuna is the by FAR most easily sold/rebought I vote for keeping the UN as that in several ways is the special one in the set.

Of those, I'd keep the Seiko! Already have a Seamaster, not so keen on that third one (sorry!).

To me the UN is the pick of the three.

Of the three shown, the UN, without a shadow of doubt – but if it's still unlikely to actually get worn/used, then it's obvious that it too needs to go, and be replaced with something you will actually wear. After all, that is the point of buying these things in the first place – they're not designed to be ornaments!

Another vote for the Seamaster, the others have too much heft for my taste where as the Omega is a classic.
