Boring Sunday afternoon (lots of shots)

Hi guys. Well yesterday was really slow, noting really to do so i thought why not kill a few hours with some photos. Now, mind you this was point and shoot, so yes there are some fingerprints, unwanted reflections, dust and hair on some of the photos.
And yes, there are few of them so go and grab yourself some coffee or beer and let this thing load

Some really fine shots there sir!

The Sinn handwinder made me miss my Regulateur (blue version), a lot actually.

Hey Nono, good job! You even managed some excellent shots of the Aquatimer, not easy to do! Great use of DoF.

The first shot of the Speedy does it for me, real magazine quality.

Well, if you know that just by looking at some pics, than you know your stuff pretty well. The answer is correct!

Thanx Tim. Yeah, the Aquatimer is a bugger to photograph. Lots of polished elements on the dial witch reflect everything.

Well i used three lenses: Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS, Canon 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS and Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX. If you look the first set of Breitling Avenger photos, the first three pictures were taken by 200mm, 105mm and 100mm macro.
Oh and regarding the Omega Logo: The irony is when you deliver your Speedy for a service in OSC, they take the crystal out and align it properly. But when you buy a brand new one, the logo is 99% wrong way around. They are obviously using automated assembly for hesalite crystals.

Really nice shots, love them all.
Would love to upgrade to a full frame sensor like that 5d Mrk III one day, but can't really justify the costs atm.
Have to make do with my 600D.

Thorien 600D is an awesome DSLR. I will probably get a 700D with STM lens this year, or maybe even 750D witch is scheduled in Q1 of 2015. The only problem is that they announced that it won't have standard viewfined (Pentamirror), but a small LCD

Yep looking forward to see what they do with the 750D(apart from that viewfinder!?! Wut!??)

Btw Just noticed I've actually got a 650D not a 600D, they keep changing the model numbers so much I can't keep up.
So I've kind of got a free upgrade lol!

Lovely collection - I enjoyed looking at the photos.

The Aquatimer is nice. I really want one of the 2014 Jacques Cousteau editions

Thank you. Yes the Breitling is a nice watch, but we kinda didn't connect so i think i will move it along for something out of Tudor range.

Even better. 650D is practically the same camera as 700D, with the exception of STM lens. But that's not a big deal anyway. Great camera!

Yep Only need STM for video really. I've got a couple of decent lenses that I like, Canon 17-55IS 2.8 EF-S and a Canon 100 2.8 Macro.
Not 'L' lenses but more than good enough.

The 60mm 2.8 is an excellent macro lens for the price too. I've seen them go on here around the £150 mark.

Just saw a review of 60mm. Looks really good and with Extension tube you can get a really close macro shot of the 100mm. And double the weight save

    @rip and ist65

    Tnx guys!

Yeah its a great walkabout lens too, perhaps a bit more versatile than a 100mm on a crop sensor camera (depending on situation of course). I'll try and dig out a few shots I took with mine.

It was done by a strapmaker here in Croatia. I wanted a vintage type look very similar to Heuerville and Hodinkee straps, so i send him a design. Here are some shots from a different angle

    And a Gianni Angelli look

What a style icon! - One of my colleagues has sported his signature casually 'unbuttoned cuffs' with his suit since we attended a Fiat conference in Turin and Milan in the mid 90's.

Boring sunday afternoon but nothing boring about your watches. Very, very nice and also very positive about your photo taking skills...
Looking damn good. Some fantastic close up pis of the dial and damn, loving those shots of the breitling with the brushed breitling tabs. Talk about detail...
