    Re: My paintings so far.

    Hi Everyone,

Finally, I've got time round to do more artwork! I've just got myself a painting programme for my work, and thought I would try my hand on it by painting a picture of my one and only favourite female singer. Not too bad for the first attempt, I think; I hope you like it. :)

    Thank you for your compliments.

As for the singer, she's a relative new-comer to the world of opera. My sketch presents her in her (now rare) 'slim' mode, with relatively heavy make-up for a photo shoot. :D So, there's the clue.

Thanks, Elwood. There is no plan on such combos at the moment; the past works were basically all commissioned.

I sure do like it! The others are just as good.

Do you work in watercolours only?

    Re: My paintings so far.

Just been through all 20 pages of this, stunning work, I think it's the harmony of accuracy of the image combined with the artistic interpretation. Now that's what I call art.

Has nobody noticed my avatar, one of my early examples of comic book art(about 30 years ago) sadly not nearly as accurate as Born's work and none of the artistic flair and I haven't improved much :(

Nice paintings, some watches deserve their own portraits! The one of the moon landing is probably the nicest in my opinion.

Thanks for your kind words. I wish I had time to paint more, or visit the forum more often, for that matter.
