    Show us your CWCs ...

CWCs are good quality watches of British design. Whats not to like? Inspired by some recent threads I would like to bring this topic up and be especially interested in comparison shots with other watches! CWC diver next to a Sub or SMP? Cool. CWC chrono next to a speedy? Cool too!

Only have one and I've had to hunt for that, was in an old watch box ready to be packed up.
Not seen the light of day for 3 months and the time is still right :)

Thanks, and they all look great - I think they're brilliant watches.

Amongst all the camo straps and baked bezel inserts, here's a real one, well travelled and used in anger...

Indeed, CWCs are made to be used. My old work watch has done a bit.......

CWCs old and new - RN issued 1981 Navigator on the left - well travelled and used for navigational purposes in ships and small boats; 2000 version on the right. They are both the same size, but the fat case of the 1981 put it on a plane closer to the lens, making it seem larger.

What is the case size minus crown of these RN Auto Divers please? Website says 45mm with crown but doesn't give a measurement without the crown. Thanks. PS - They all look great!

The RN diver seems popular. Back in 2005/6 I was undertaking a stores check at 17 Port and Maritime Regiment in Marchwood, they had some sixty or so CWC diver watches thrown into an old ammunition container with some other G10's. They were being back loaded via Portsmouth.

I don't know how but after arriving at Portsmouth all of those watches ended up in various car boot and antique/flea market sales around the South not one going through proper disposal channels.

Not my business, but the kicker was if I had wished I could have nabbed several myself and didn't.

Anyone have a date only quartz diver? I'm sure I saw one in Silvermans a few years back, but now I'm starting to think I imagined it.

There were a few SS quartz Day/Date watches a few years ago. They were marked SP on the case back. Other than those, Date only was available in the automatic in 2002, 2004 and 2012.
