Recent arrival, recommend me a strap

Evening all, this appeared for me at some stage this weekend, thanks to Paul.

My first Rolex and in excellent nick, especially being nearly 46 years young! I was contemplating putting a strap on and using some of those natty end links to fill the gap. Has any one done this on a Datejust?

Anyway, i'm super happy with the watch.

Nice watch! Put the link to your photo in between to make it show.

    EDIT: beaten to it. :)

Congratulations on a beautiful specimen, rico! The Datejust has grown on me a lot in the last 6 months, and I actually think it suits that bracelet best. I'd be tempted to try it on a NATO strap, to be honest, but I'm sure it'd be back on the bracelet rather quickly. Might have to get myself one, with all these beauties floating around SC.

Anything but a NATO please.... the datejust is a dressy watch, and deserves a nice quality leather strap. Maybe alligator or lizard.

Here's a similar watch from a google search
