STOLEN: Rolex Sea Dweller - London

Had my Rolex Sea Dweller stolen at knife point near Bermondsey tube station in London.

    10th August 2014.

Not sure of the serial number at the moment, will update the post once I find the paperwork.

    Sorry to hear that ;(

I thought Bermondsy was posh and nice these days?

EDIT:- I guess being near the Tube there are 3000 CCTV cameras?

The main thing is that you're fine? A horrible experience and not one I would wish on anyone.

Such a terrible thing to happen.

I hope you have insurance and that the police catch the bastard(s)

Thanks for all the messages. I'm fine. Hopefully they will catch them. In the end though they are only things, and can be replaced.

    Agreed.

May the thief die a horrible and painful death.

This kind of crime is actually so shocking to the people who become its victims, that very severe punishment should be applied.
There is a enormous difference between stealing something from a house and threatening people with a weapon and forcing them to give up their property.

Politically incorrect, but a good old flogging / putting the robber up in the stocks would seem appropriate.

Sounds a pretty horrible experience that will take a while to put behind you. Scary. Did he follow you off the Tube?
