    Help re CWC Watch

    Hi folks
    I have a CWC Watch which i think is a navigator model.

    The numbers on the back are as below:
    0552/6645-99
    5415317
    56526
    90

    Anyone help me please with what they refer to etc

    0552 refers to the fact it was issued to the Royal Navy, 6645-99-541-5317 is the Nato Stock Number used to order the item, each type of watch having a different NSN. 56526 is your specific watch's serial number and 90 is the year of manufacture.

    The "Navigator" term is generally reserved for those watches with a date - which was essential for Navigators who needed to refer to navigational publications such as tide tables, almanacs, etc.
