Maybe marathon watches.
Hi all,
Seems many vintage military watches are now in the pricey bracket: £1,000-2,000.
What watches can you still buy for beer money - ie: £100-£200
I'll try to name a few:
CWC/Precista G10's
Some of the ATP's
Russian Vostok Komandirskies
US A-11's
Vietnam era Benrus/Hamilton field watches
Any others you can think of?
Cheers,
Marcus
PRS-5, 18 or 53 if someone is silly enough to (or unfortunate enough to have to) let their's go.
I was very fortunate and got my Seiko 6105 from SC for not very much more than the upper range of your budget, well worth the stretch in my opinion, the doubled domed crystal is beautiful.
You can buy German military DH watch for that Money, but only if you good watching (many fakes watches).
As already said;
Precista 18
Marathon Field watch
Adanac navigator
CwC
Amphibia/Kommanderskie

Seiko and Pulsar?
Thanks for your suggestions all.
I'm thinking of an ATP to add to my collection as I want to follow the WW2 theme.
An ADANAC Navigator or PRS-5 look tempting though!
Picked this up for £12 on eBay.......
F.T.F.A.
Seems like a record
Issued stopwatches and pocket watches can be cheap enough.
Ingersol marked with YK1060, not sure about the history of this one..... 1991 issued Precista (PE Instructor's stopwatch) manufactured by Racine
There's an old precista on the bay at the moment.
