Bob,
Did you get anywhere with your Seiko service? I find myself in the same boat.
Steve.
Just about to invest in a 6139 Pogue from a seller on this very forum, i'd like to get it checked over and serviced but understand these watches are getting harder to service due to part availability issues? Would be grateful for an idea of a recommended watchmaker who can do this. Cheers Bob

Thanks Bob, I'll follow your lead.

Second that, Duncan (cannop) did a cracking Jon on my Pogue
Massive endorsement for Duncan here. He overhauled my 6138-0030 when I had it and his attention to detail is excellent. He's also done some smaller jobs on Seikos for me. There's also a thread recently about a gentleman's father in-laws watch that he fully restored which was really impressive.
Prices are excellent and he's great to deal with, a true good guy.
