PS. There's a remote possibility you might see it slipped in on the "Friday" thread.
Or so I thought... credit card at the ready, preparing for a nail biting day at the office, refreshing timefactors every three minutes.

WHAT??? How'd that happen? How will I put an order in today? I guess I can't, but everyone else said they would, there must be some secret way! And I'm not in the know!! Now all the SB3s will be gone when I can finally access timefactors.com again!!!

Eddie is definitely out to give me a heart attack...

Well if I understand that right it is very simple: We all can order from Monday on, can't we?

The IWC Mark IX relaunch sells for a whopping € 8.3 --> shall we say GBP 6k for the FO LE?

How about putting it in the PRS-30 case (without the crown guards) and a simple dial ... and making an individual piece instead a B-Uhr homage?

Nothing wrong with that, a swiss one will do nicely in the PRS-30

Wow! The last I saw, was you saying that the Chinese were prepared to make you a HW version of their Unitas clone for the B-Uhren ... so I was thinking, why not put it in something different and unique?

A Swiss Unitas would be fine in a B-Uhren as it is perceived to be a ‘longer lasting’ model but I am also prepared to consider something different. The problem with a large handwound is that it would probably have to be a ‘dress’ rather than a ‘sports’ model. I like what Kobold did with the Sir Ernest Shackleton but I don’t like what Guinand are doing with their series 30. I am waiting to see what other people have to say.

So, let's get this straight. There is a Chinese and a Swiss centre-seconds Unitas on offer?

The only one I've been offered is the Swiss Unitas. I think the Chinese watchmaker who was offering the conversion has folded his business after his wife left him and he's gone back to Wan King.

Yeah, was hoping to coax a little information out of the man - blood from a stone I know. But considering it was soon to go up on the site till the error was noticed.... I'd think a price had been settled on...

    please?

Even if it turned out to be £390, that would still represent outstanding value for the specs on offer. What is the chosen detail for the date window frame - please let us know Eddie.

The date window will be large enough to read the date on the date wheel.

I feel Eddie's ambiguity regarding design details, prices and most other questions fired at him, is a deliberate marketing ploy to whip the forum members into a frenzy of anticipation!!

As the man himself says "he's a twat"!!!

I think the font on the date wheel needs to be just slightly bolder. And perhaps the date window just needs to be a tiny smidge larger to take account of the unusually thick dial.
