The new one looks great, cant wait to purchase one of these.
The only thing that stopped me buying one in the past, was that i had read reports on poor bezel action.
Glad to hear the new one's an improvement.

I just received one of the new CWC auto no-date divers. As I have an older auto no-date diver and the bead blasted quartz diver, I thought I'd do a simple short comparison.
Here is a top view, the old is on the left and the new is on the right. The obvious difference is the circle-T and the circle-L.
I noticed that the minute hand on the new is a bit wider than the one on the old. Can you see it, or is it only me?
New
Old
Then there is the profile, again, the old is on the left and the new on the right.
The new is about 1 - 2mm taller and feels noticeably heavier.
The bezel is better than the old, smoother, and does not sound as 'tinny' as the bead-blasted quartz diver.
So here it is, a very basic comparison.
I like the fatter minute hand, but overall it's a bit tall.
:)

+ The minute hand looks a tad wider and its base circular plate looks to have a wider diameter.
+ The bezel 'pip' is smaller.
+ The bezel print is a touch sharper, if not thinner as well.
It is interesting that the case is thicker, perhaps the new automatic is being replicated closer to the 1981 original.

Yes, I do necro threads, they're like time capsules and we're future space men exploring them.
