Wish I had bigger wrists, that MM300 looks great! Lovely bit of colour too! It's cold, damp and miserable down here in Hertfordshire .

    My wrist is 7.25”. I bet that a 6.75” could carry off a MM300?
The weather has been great in Inverness for the last few days. It is presently 8C here - very warm for early February. The photo is a little bit of a cheat, as it was taken in the Botanical Gardens.

I have small wrists and the MM300 fits fine, the Turtle is wider but not as thick.

If you're in London during the week around the Mayfair area ever and fancy having a look at one in the flesh; let me know beforehand and I'll make sure I have mine with me and you can have a look at my Marinemaster.

Whilst large, there are much bigger Seiko divers out there. The MM600 and then SBEX are significantly larger

Thanks for the offer, though I'm hardly ever in London these days. Very kind gesture

A Trio of Fifty Five Fathoms

Here is a trio of Fifty Five Fathoms modifications. As people know there are multiple combinations that can be applied. My first rule is that the Seiko insert is a no go, some people just change the dial and leave it that, but in my opinion the full modifications look much better.

The first one is the closest combination to the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. More than a homage, this is direct copy but I love it. Having owned the real thing, it is fantastic to have the look and feel for a few hundred pounds.

The second one is on a milsub theme. Whilst I am not a great fan of the Seiko sword hands (a little on the large side), they are essential to complete the milsub look and a strap or NATO is preferable to a bracelet for this version.

The third is probably the class act of the lot. The vintage dial with yellow gold surrounds and gold hands gives it a great look and it also has the newly released fully lumed Ceramic insert.

All three are great watches, comfortable to wear and offer an element of variety without tying up great chuncks of ones wealth. Happy days.

Hi. First post on here. I have two Seiko's, the first which I just purchased on eBay after an a few hours in the pub (fingers tightly crossed) and the second, a re-modded 1996 diver

Sorry previous quote didn’t work, I was trying not to re-quote the whole comment. Did you do these FFF yourself or buy them? I like these and could be interested myself...

I didn't do any myself, I bought the milsub version from here and the other two from e-bay. Just search Seiko Fifty.

Have to agree. Had fun myself today with the light-box and iPhone. Fantastic cameras for their size.

Even an oblique nib isn’t going to help my writing! I have an M400 in the green striated livery. Unfortunately I bought it with a medium bib, should have gone for fine. Apologies for taking this off topic!!

A fan of FFF myself but don't prefer the set of hands in no 2 of your collection. Just happen to know that domed bezel insert is available and I might probably get another piece of your no 3 as well.

I got this from my dad on my 21st birthday. As you can see it's been worn a lot. Just put a new strap on it last night. I'm still loving it and it's nice to get it back on my wrist.

My small Seiko collection. I had an SKX007 but I flipped it for a Citizen NY0040, which fit me better. The yellow ones are recent acquisitions:

Is that an SKX007 with a custom bezel? Looks awesome.

EDIT: Just realised that it's an earlier automatic model.

Bought this a few years ago.
No idea what model/year it is ?
Think it’s had a bezel and glass (domed) modification, possibly hands too....

    But... it’s a great daily

Modded SKX171 with SKX007 rotating ring and marinemaster hands. Does the caseback say 7s26-7020?
