Ive probably posted this before but with Photobucket so Ill post again.
Still loving this one. Birth year and month watch too.
Probably looks like an skx to the non Seiko amongst us but the subtle differences in the case shape, crown position, bezel, kanji date wheel etc make it perfect. It seems much better quality than the newer stuff. It's probably aged better than I have to be fair :-)
Has anyone got a cocktail time with the brown dial, I briefly spotted one on Saturday, stunning.

Both were serviced- the 7000(black dial) had a screw stub snapped in the main plate (battery retaining strap hole) so main plate was switched- the 700B was originally in my TST case- the correct case was sourced - it also had some new 007 hands so we found some that suited it better- I'm really pleased
my first seiko, bought it to clean up and learn from

Thanks! I'll keep my eyes peeled for any out there on the interweb. Dare I ask for the original cost? Do feel free to send me away with a flea in my ear!

As I'm collecting 24 hour watches I have some unusual Seiko models. This one is Think The Earth by Seiko Industries. There are Northern and (very rare) Southern Hemisphere models. I have both. One is rotating clockwise (S), another counterclockwise (N).
Another rare watch, as far as I know sold only in Japan, is Isihara 24 world, made by Seiko Industries.
^^^ @Afka: Two very interesting watches there, especially the globe watch. Very nice.
