Unsurprisingly I'm very positive but given my Tunaholic tendencies I'm perhaps not very unbiased? I really like the splashes of color in bezel/crown and minute hand etc. Plus I've been hankering for a blue dial Tuna for some time now. So a winner in my book for sure. The only negative aspect I can think of is Seikos hysteric Padi-badging of all kinds of models, but that is really a branding aspect and not a negative for the watch in itself, at least for me.

And to add that the rubber strap for the watch is standard black, would have been a nice touch if it was dark blue...

Thanks - I'm really happy with it now, it's certainly a lot nicer than when I bought it as a bit of a project a few years back.

Have considered parting with it before, but it was a Seiko grail of mine and just not sure if I can do it!!

Have had it on the bond nato for a while, so going to try it on a tropic, quite fancy trying a perlon as well!

My snowflake:) does anyone know of a custom strap maker for GS? I'd love to get a navy blue one with curved ends/end links.

Great photos S.L, the dial macro shows what an absolute work of art dwells beneath the crystal.

Wow S.L - I've not seen a Tuna like that before.

Very nice, I'm guessing it's some kind of JDM LE model?

Thanks and yes, it's known as the "Dime MD edition".

I concur with all statements above. Quite possibly the best looking Tuna I've ever seen. You lucky man!

    Thank you (both of you)!
I could probably be classified as a bit of a Tunaholic and have a few in my collection now, including some other rare-ish references but this one will always be my favourite. It is probably my only sure keeper as well, given how it found it's way to me it would be sacrilege to sell it on.

Just stunning that Tuna! Love it!

Are the PADI seikos a limited edition or will they keep making them? The blue fin Tuna just looks superb!

Ahh haha it might have been one of mine before he had it. He has some lovely ones though so....

Looks great tho, his advice to me was to not sell ones like that. I'll have to check as to whether he is feeling OK! :)

Trying a black rubber nato for the "Zimbe",

Think it works better on the grey and orange ones.

Better photo than any stock one. Think I might have to try one as the MM300 is for now out of reach. That'll teach me to have sold it.

    Show your Seikos.

    Two new arrivals today.

A 1976 6306 7001 in really nice original condition. Very happy with it!

A Seiko PADI. Lots of these about at the minute. Wanted to give one a try. Sure it will make a nice daily watch. The charter alignment is slightly out but aren't they all!

To top that off I had my 6139 on today also.

    Cheers
    Gavin.

    Hey Bodo.
I double checked the date and it's actually a 1976. You probably know more than me on this but I believe this was very early production? So early I believe Seiko were still producing the 6306-7000!!
