Beautiful. I haven't seen the blue MM300 in real life but it does look nice in pictures. I sold my SLA021 earlier this year but I'm hoping to add one again during 2921 if I'm lucky.

Is the bezel insert made from (presumably toughened) glass? The whole watch is gorgeous, but that insert really sets it off for me.

Bezel insert should be ceramic, it feels different then one on entry turtle or skx divers (aluminium); it has that mate glassy finish, and I agree, it is a perfect match

Here is another one that imho should be a must have in Seikoholic collection (or any collection). At current SKX prices, turtle is a winner. Yes, a bigger watch but with almost similar L2L equaly wearable

Latest Seiko acquisition, this 4823-5017 from March 1976.......

Makes a nice pair with it's brother from October 1976.....

Strange ones, these only appear as 3003 export watches, no similar cased watch in the JDM catalogues from 1976 or 1977 but the 4823 movement is the same one fitted to JDM King Quartz watches from the same year.....
Anyone else on here got one of these?

Really enjoying the SKX on a navy crafter blue strap. I read a few reports of these being uncomfortable but that hasn’t been my experience so far. I’m using the metal keeper which has been fine although there are now rubber spares provided. I haven’t felt the need to swap them yet.

Well my Arnie has arrived and I must say I'm impressed.

The strap is very soft and fits really well. The watch itself is not as big as I thought and it wears smaller.
The bezel lines up. The hands line up. Even the second hand hits the markers and anyone who has bought a Seiko in recent years, knows that none of that is guaranteed.

The lume is excellent, as expected from a Prospex Seiko. The screw down pushers and crown are much more solid feeling that I was expecting and feel of the pushers are crisp, positive and not spongy. The metal keeper is not (yet) annoying. The bezel is better than I remember my SKX being. It's positive and has no slop. It was easy to set the time, alarm and second time zone - mind you I have been watching one or two YouTube reviews.

All in all I'm very pleased with it. I should also praise Watcho from whom I bought this, for offering an excellent price, discount and speedy delivery, as well as excellent comms.

Stay safe and enjoy your watches!

Great Watch.......I could probably be very happy with this as a 1 watch do it all.

Not so much a show but an update. It's some six days since I received my Arnie and in that time it's still perfectly synced with my atomic time app.

I'm very fussy when it comes to quartz watches, the seconds hands HAVE to hit the markers and it has to have great accuracy, both of which the Arnie has.

Compared to the E168 movements in my solar powered Citizens, the Seiko H851 is clearly more accurate, as the Citizens drift by a couple of seconds or more, a week.

Another fantastic 6105 on its way to me, looks stunning in the photos and super clean for an all original watch.

Very tame and clichéd compared to most, but I have got this where I want it and like it very much.

Think surgically enhanced breasts, not natural but still awesome .

The SKX is actually from 1993 but it’s visited the states a few times to go to its favourite surgeon

Haven't worn my skx011 a great deal since buying it last month, put it on today and I'm really liking it.
I've tried various straps and nothing really stands out as a winner so I've just ordered a MiLTAT Jubilee bracelet to try which will hopefully be here tomorrow

I bought this in 1991 and in that time, I'd guess I've worn at about 40 or 50 times, if that. But today was one of those days.

About a minute after I took this photo the keeper came off the strap - it appears to have come unglued. Still - good innings and I expect I can repair it.
