Mine’s a 6117-8000 navigator .. other 6117s are or can be bigger (usually 40mm for the ones with internal bezel) - the silver dialled one here is 38mm. Usually crops up as grey - blue is scarcest ..

This is a long shot to be sure, but does anyone know if it's at all possible to source an original bracelet (or aftermarket replica) for the Seiko 7A28-6000 "Bishop"?

Mine for 10 years. At the beginning used to swap straps (nato) but since I have this «*rolex*» like strap, it’s just perfect wearing it for years and years like this.

A rare bird these days, a SARB015 Alpinist (aka the sharks tooth Alpinist) from 2006. I did a search and couldn't believe what people were selling these for 10 years ago. I bet they wished they had put them in the cupboard and forgotten about them.

This is a nice version, even the wonky date doesn't detract!

I was delving into random Seiko limited/special editions, so many about but also difficult to find nowadays. One I came across is the Seiko SAGQ007 i really like the look of

A final photo of this 1967 GS self-dater, before I let it go. A black re-dial, so not quite as Seiko made it, but they really should have! I guess they figured that out a few decades later in time for the quartz reissue...

    Sorry about the bezel alignment!

Very nice, I am planning on picking one up this weekend although it will be the 077 or 079 model. They seem a lot of watch for the money.

Just landed this beautiful SBGH269G on Friday. It’s a true beauty that my photography skills just aren’t up to showing off the lovely dial.

I’ve had a Snowflake before and this beats it hands down

Newly arrived from the USA, the Seiko Golden 6309 re-issue (SRPC44).

The case gold colour is very warm in tone, really chuffed with it.

These cases are timeless and such wonderful curves

There must be up towards 20 variations of the 6309-reissue by now? Has to be a real cash cow for Seiko.

Having had a couple of these, mainly with chewed lugs and crystal conversions, I thought it was time to buy a brand new one before they finally disappear. I do like the look of the Seiko strap with the Green dial, but as we all know the quality is dreadful. I decided to buy a Hirsch Duke strap for it, which appear identical, only made of leather instead of plastic.

I do have a spare Strapcode 3D Oyster Bracelet for this Watch, but will leave it on the strap for now. The unused Seiko straps are consigned to the wardrobe with the box and booklets.

Wonderful choice. Whatever comes next from the Alpinist range won't remove this one from its iconic position.

Glad to see you have it now, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Just a shame there is no sun at the moment to show off the dial!
