Thanks for that!!! not sure I can let the MM300 go while its being done though?? Ill try and post pics of my 3 latest Seiko's tomorrow! the two Sumo's and the Birth Year Vintage that I will start a little restoration on soon!!
Also where the hell is yokobies?? is it all by email or does he have a website? or it yobokies??

The MM looks so good on a big leather (toshi esq) strap. I like to wear them In the shower though. :-(

Yes, the first one is the Sumo, the one below the Stargate.

If you need to get rid of one of those 62MAS to fund the projects ...
(it's a noticable gap in my collection)

    H461-5000 dating to 1985 (I think - 5xxxx8 serial number).

I bought this as a donor in case I need a replacement movement for my Pluton. Although the Hirsch leather is nice quality I just don't like it and think it makes the watch look very dated. As an experiment, I put on a spare plain black leather strap I had laying around and, in my opinion at least, has transformed it.

The crystal was quite badly scratched and dulled, so half an hour matting it back on the fine side of a knife block, and then through all the grades I've got of diamond lapping paste, and all but the deepest scratches are gone and the crystal looks nice and shiny again. It's no longer going to sit in a box waiting to be dissected!

Congrats! I have the exact same on my wrist right now. It is one of my favorite watches. Classic, iconic design and real diver at a very reasonable price. IMHO every divers watches collection should have one.

There are just so many Seiko's that I like the look of that I just can't choose.

I used to think that Seiko's were cheap tat, but have been educated as to the error of my ways by this site and others and now find myself lusting over all sorts from the staple SKX007 to vintage pieces.

I rather like the tuna on a mesh bracelet too.

    Where will it end :-)
