Love that Brad, lots of small additions that just work in a great way.

The triple grip bezel is just lovely.

Cheers Matt I've been waiting for a decent dark mercedes hands set for a while to bring a bit of my favourite Sub DNA to the 007. And thought I would bring the Superdome to this one at the same time.

I felt more comfortable with the departure in main due to having the 7548 as original as they come.

Do you still have your SKX?

Yes, still got it - thought several times of selling it, but the modded one remains, sitting beside a 007 & 009 and a monster.

I'm not what you'd call a Seiko "fan". Never bought one for the brand name, and certainly don't collect them. And yet with the addition of a SKX007 to the fold this week, I did a quick inventory and it turns out I have nine of them. None of them particularly collectable, desirable or valuable; none you could call a classic, possibly excepting the newest arrival.

The light is a bit dim for photography in NW Leics at the moment, but here are three of them:

    An ana-digi, acquired in 1986 or 1987:

A digital I saw in the window of Austin Kaye in 2000 (I think it was £25 or so):

An automatic I bought in Derby in 1991. Still on its original strap.

    New arrival

Just got a Seiko SUN021, aka the Kinetic Tuna GMT. Bloody huge, it is. Not too unwieldy to wear though... :)

Sorry about the naff smartphone photo, no decent camera at the minute.

Most seen Seiko after the SKX series?

  38. #1638
My mid size 4025 from the early eighties with custom 31trum strap. Lume is faded on dial and just about gone on hands, new crystal and bezel insert. Crystal was hard to find in good condition, first one NOS had strange spots that wouldn't polish out.
Photo was a sort of EDC for the strap maker as that's one of his wallets.
My daily wearer, I like it as its not huge on my skinny wrists and it hand winds too
