Nice, I really fancy one of these. Not sure if I would go for the new green version or an older model. The case design looks impressive.

    Would you recommend it?

Had the rubber strap give up on me on the way to work today, not the best start of the day but at least the watch was not damaged.

Have to say after wanting one for a long time, and I have to say I am not disappointed so far, carries the weight well. SBDX001.
That is reall nice - love the lume, and patterns on the hands and second hand. I've always thought those might be a bit chunky for me, but equally always been tempted by them!

The green dial and bezel is stunning.

That's unfortunate, at least the watch wasn't damaged, looks great with the blue shroud as well.

    Thank you.
I was adjusting the watch (position wise) on my wrist when it happened so it literally fell into my right hand.

  8. #6008

Decided to see what the fuss is about! I get it, I could have gone with the 035 but on balance I think the black is a little dressier, the white a little more casual. Dressier was what I wanted so...
I could have gone either way to be honest!

Looks nice, I've got the 033 as well, but often think a 035 would complement it.

That being said, since discontinued, they both seem to have gone up in price a bit too much for my liking

Good to hear. A bit out of my price range right at this moment but may look out for a preowned one in near future.

I did see a nice blue one for sale with a few nice extras.

This isn't normally the kind of watch I would go for as I tend to like smaller 38-40mm, but I am really drawn to it for some reason.

Looks fantastic, I love the blue. I had the same happen to me with my Golgo13 Tuna, strap popped off and it fell onto the tube floor and still bears the scar. Oh well, part of the rich narrative of the watch, wabi sabi etc.

I think the older model (if you can find one) is a good deal cheaper.
No sapphire crystal and not the 6R35 caliber.
    Still a lovely looking watch.
    Good luck with your hunt.

I'm not sold on that one, looks ok, but I think I prefer the one with a blue tint.

Knowing some of the GS models, it probably looks far better on person.

Once you get her the Michael Kors be sure to drop her iPhone on a tiled floor to give her a lovely cracked screen. Never seen one without the other

There not too bad - one wears a Bulova and the other a citizen diver (of course they have some fashion watches for nights out )

Another JDM Speedmaster added to my collection today. August 1983, making this 36 years young! This one's never been brushed.. never polished.. OE bezel, the lot. Took a while... but I'm chuffed to bits with it.

Seiko Shogun Zimbe SPB099J1 in Titanium. I knew I had to move fast when it went from 'cool but hugely overpriced Shogun' to 'unobtanium' in the space of a few days so here it is.

It's a stunning watch. Seiko don't usually do red dials like that, as I recall.

A modded sne107 I picked up on eBay a year or two back. The seller had beadblasted the case and added the Murphy bezel. I added the Hirsch Ayrton carbon strap.

I really can't understand why Seiko don't put that type of crown on all of their watches, it's such a small thing to do for them yet it improves the aesthetics and bumps the appearance of quality up a notch or two.
Other cheaper, lesser brands often do it, I just don't get it, but then, I don't get Hardlex over sapphire either.

    Gorgeous watch, btw.
