Amazingly accurate losing approx 2 secs a day if that. I'm not enamoured with the bracelet and will have to find a suitable leather strap for it, but for the money I'm very impressed. I've always wanted a Spork just missing out on one in SC. Patience on my part will I'm sure, see me secure one one day.

Would you recommend this watch then? They've just popped up on my radar as I'm looking for a nice GMT diver; and as I rotate my watches a bit, the movement would probably suit better than an automatic.

Yes I would. It's been so reliable and accurate and Like you say if you rotate your watches, you'll know that you can take it out the box and it'll still be ticking.

Got quite a few Seikos dating from 1977 to 2013 but this is my daily wearer, the wonderful MM300

Monocoque case, exquisite engineering, superb lume, and perfect size and weight for me.

I was hoping that this thread was going to produce an image of - and from that a reference number for - a Seiko that I want to buy.

It looks like this - a classic moon phase calendar:

    Help!

The 7F38-6030 is probably the nearest match to that. I had one as an 18th birthday present but haven't seen it in years. May be in the house somewhere or lost in one of several house moves.

It always amazes me how people sneer at the Seiko brand. A thread like this just reiterates how marvelous the brand is with so much variety to suit everyones budget. Keep em coming....

Liking this one.. Elements of the 007/BM but without the offset crown, and a bit 'beefier'! Do you have a model ref?

Still undecided whether to keep it on the leather or change it out to a NATO.
