    Rolex Watch Trader, Manchester

Whilst browsing the web I came across Rolex Watch Trader. They’ have a nice website and plenty of positive TrustPilot reviews but I haven’t actually heard of them before now. I’ve never spent more than a few hundred pounds when buying a watch online so would be interested to know if anyone from TZ has had dealings with them before?
    Thanks
    Rob

No record of them at Companies House.

Good location in Manchester city centre - Chancery Place looks like a modern office suite. Some good prices and some a bit pricey. There's a Lady Datejust described as having a Champagne baton dial showing "ageing" when it's actually discoloured with rust marks!

    Caveat emptor.

Thanks guys, your replies (and lack of them) pretty much confirm my suspicions. I shall give them a miss.

Pretty sure there’s no physical shop there . I’m assuming it’s an office space that they use .

The website does say that you can view watches at their office by appointment only. And apparently they’ve been trading for 15 years. I’ve certainly never heard of them before.

I used a relatively unheard of dealer before but they had a reasonably strong presence on eBay/Chrono24 and everything checked up on Companies House. Without some form of evidence they are an established dealer, I'd be giving them a miss.

I can’t see how they can use Rolex in their company name. Sounds wrong to me, I’d avoid.
