At any time there are usually several of these 'Sunrise' on eBay... and they are all fakes.
    Here's a genuine Sunrise...

Gave this 1741 an outing today. It's dated January 1954 so 70 years old this month.

Does it generally seem more like a blue watch that doesn't always look very blue, or a silver / white watch that comes up a little blue from time to time?

I realise this is a bit of a silly question, but would welcome your thoughts if you want to give them. I am partial to dials that are changeable with the weather, and this does seem like one...
It's kinda light blue under the sunlight but silvery under fluorescent light

Picked up this 5625 King Seiko a few days ago.
Beautiful dial on these, dates from 1974, so turning 50 years old this year!

SPB149j1 - Recent pickup from SC.. Still in the honeymoon period.. but i’ve really been impressed with this version.. It’s the most I’ve paid for a standard Seiko.. so far so good.. It’s does feel a little top heavy after wearing a TudorBB58.. but sure that will pass after a few more weeks.

Not worn this for a while. It’s not looking too bad for 48 years old.

‘79 Grand Quartz. This has the hardened SS case with wonderful textured dial. Near perfect condition with original bracelet Keeps time incredibly well - it’s lost about 35s since last adjusted in approx September.

    I don't need another wristwatch, I don't have any extra money...but I couldn't say no.

Freshly serviced, in extremely good condition (just surface scratches on the bezel insert).

I recently picked this up too, been impressed with the overall build quality (but think I will swap out the clasp for a MM300 one)

    Show your Seikos.

Latest 62MAS re-issue (but also the most faithful) SJE093.
Lovely boxed sapphire crystal mimicking the old plexi

One of 1965 pieces (how they love an LE!) to celebrate the year of original launch.
I have an emotional attachment to the 1960s sunburst grey seiko dials, so this is making me very happy at present.
