Bought this in 2006, sold to a friend in 2012 and bought it back yesterday. Wasn't a minter before but definitely needs a bit of TLC now.

Hi everyone, new to the forum and the watch world. My first but definitely not last Seiko the SNKL43 on an after market strap.

Can any one advise some good places to buy Seiko watches in the UK or EU?

    Welcome to the forum.

That is a classic seiko, love the design. You can not go far wrong with a seiko 5.

Yorkshire watches, do a fair few Seiko’s on their website in the UK.

    ཆ་nice work fraz!

There are a couple of 'irish based' sellers on ebay who have low prices if you want a cheap and no frills experience
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

    Seiko SBDC053

New today, looks different each time in catches the light.

Real step up in Quality compared to my other seiko divers, love the design and the rubber strap is very soft.

Very nice, I really like these. Hard decision on black or blue for me. I initially wanted blue but the black one's bezel has quite a good shifting effect in light.

Looks like you got lucky with the alignment of everything on yours too.

Thanks, I bought it in a bricks and mortar shop, so I was able to check before purchasing.

    The set

051 with MM300 strap,053 wearing 051 bracelet and SLA017 with Tropic. This is my wrist attachment preference for each piece. All were set correctly yesterday at around 8pm. The 053 is spot on, the others fast by 6 to 7 seconds.

This is what I could find.

The 200m water resistant stainless steel case measure 42.6mm case without the crown, has a lug to lug length of 50mm, and a height of about 13.8mm, with a lug width of 20mm.

I love this watch, it is amazing.

My sbdc53 is very much on it with accuracy too.

Apologies as already posted this on the 01/2018 thread, but forgot how good this sumo is, surely an upcoming classic (?) and the watch that got me into this madness.
Excuse the stretch armstrong-esque forearm too :-)

Fine collection Sean. With the MM300 now gone I have a few shekels left and am toying with a SBDC001 Sumo, Samurai or the 051. You are Mr Seiko Full House!
