...but are any of them as nice as an old Milgauss?

(Thanks / apologies to the original owner of this image)

I just can't decide of this is targeting an Asian market or if it's trying to put the rest of a foot in the 'sports' market.

I'm reserving judgement until I've seen one, but don't have the envy yet.

I really need to see this in the flesh to see if I like it as much as I do from the pics. I've the Milgauss GV but this looks even nicer.

What will happen to old black GV, will it be discontinued? As I understand both new and old GV share the same reference number.

Are you sure about that or do you mean black dialed non-GV model without green sapphire?

The blue has the same reference number. Can only mean one thing. My AD thinks so too..

Then the advice I was given by local AD 6 months ago to not sell my GV and to hold onto it for 3 years was very sound advice indeed.

Not live yet on Rolex website, wonder when release date will be exactly ?

Good time to buy the original GV then I guess...

I was told the black faced GV will continue alongside the new blue one. It is the black dial non gv variant which will be discontinued.

I had hoped they would have introduced a version with the new stainless steel watchstraps rather than the old PCL version

love the colours and design - it's lovely, but I think it's time to retire the "lightening bolt" second hand.

Rolex are so conservative that this always seemed a really odd thing for them to do.

I think it's a quirky thing that kind of looks right in a wrong way, got to say it again , I think it's superb, currently knocking my highly desired Bremont U2 off the top of my wish list.

    You are right.
I don't own any of these but I have tried both.

The sunray blue dial reflect much more the light than the matt black dial... logical.

Of course the green glass is filtering light a bit more than clear sapphire. Black dial seems to absorb light and blue dial to catch and reflect.

    Both are beautiful.

I'm craving for one GV but still wondering which one.
Blue GV prices are going down to black GV on the grey market.
For a new one, it's now just a question of choice for the color.
