    Cleaning rubber straps

I have one orange Omega rubber bracelet that has absorbed colour from shirts etc. Can I just soak it in chlorite since toothbrush and dish washing stuff does nothing. I guess the colour's in the rubber and won't bleach accidentally?

I used a nail brush with some fairy scrubbed like hell and it did fade the stain, try anything at your own risk pal! my next step was to try turps!!! decided against it though!!

Have you tried a baking soda solution, or white vinegar.
Don't think any oil based application would work and might well damage the strap.

Thanks. I think I'll fry the baking soda first. It bleaches, right?

Suggest you try on a spare rubber item to check effect, and I would try white vinegar first.
