Buy parts from net (ebay?) and give it to your watchmen....he will build it for you....
I am hopeless in handling anything smaller than a car tyre. So, I need someone to build something for me.
A manual mechanic, small seconds, no date, steel case in dress watch style and size, as thin a bezel as possible, domed chrystal, blued hands and a white dial with something special printed on it.
Is there a good preform available, or how should this be built? And more importantly, by whom?
No big budgets here, just a specific occasion coming up, and no ready made watch would do the trick.

Dial (white): http://www.ebay.com/itm/38-9mm-white...item27d40438ee
Movement: 1: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-ETA-UNIT...item53f08509ec

Work hours/watchmen: ???
Thank you very much! It will take some time to consider the options and compatibility, but that could be a viable approach.
Well if you want I can build it for you
I may even have a spare 6498-1 movement left in the box and a selection of hands ect
Sorry, I did not mean to ignore the very helpful replies - will come back to this shortly as I am fully engaged elsewhere right now. Thanks again.
