Anyone know when the PRS29 might be back in stock?

    Hi folks

I’ve loved the Smiths W10 for as long as I can remember, so when the PRS29a was released, I couldn’t believe it. My dream watch, available brand new from a hugely respected watch supplier who actually owns the brand...

I couldn’t really justify it in 2010, since I was wearing my trusty Omega 24 hours a day. I decided that when the Omega needed a service, I would put it in a draw for a while and finally pick up the Smiths.

So the Omega has now stopped working, and it turns out the last of the 29s were sold out a couple of months ago?

Does anyone have any idea of when the next batch would be available? Does anyone know if it'll be available in weeks? Months?
I'm trying to decide whether I should just wait, or send the Omega off for servicing in the meantime.

I was going to send Eddie an email, but I figured I’d try to save him some time if someone else has already asked the question, so thanks in advance for any feedback.

    Shish

Just checked Eddie's site they are on order.I own one of the last 29b double domed crystal versions, dont know if he is making anymore of that variant, you will have to ask Eddie.
I hope to get a 29a sometime to keep it company!Whichever you decide you cant go wrong, just make sure your wrist can take the 29b ,as it has long lugs,my wrist is 7.25 inches.
I just love the simplicity of the watch and because it's a handwinder.

    Hi mate,

    Thanks for the reply.

Sadly I have the wrists of a sickly schoolgirl, so it's the 36mm I want.

It'll sit larger on my wrist than my 36mm Seamaster, but hopefully not too much, but the 39 would be too large...

Plus I like the old school acrylic to go with the handwinding :)

    Thanks Eddie,

I'm just going to put the money aside and wait, then. I need it
