Made this one from two of my photos which had similar lighting.
Not really big enough for wallpaper due to PBs hosting limits, but I have an email-able one which is bigger 8)

Just got my PRS-14 and have now downloaded the picture for my screensaver. Both are looking impressive.
Thanks
Off to pick a new one. That way Trish will assume my next watch will be less than a grand.

And a good shot of one at that; they are buggers to light properly due the reflectivity of their scales - "Like photographing a mirror" as one of my colleagues put it.Originally Posted by seadog1408

It seem it is very difficult to shoot a watch without AR coating :|
Majowy: what king of three is on the secont picture?
I think they're all fantastic but my fave is the last one, the nostalgic type b&w one with concorde at the top.
Regarding any future designs I'd prefer to see more Tornados, maybe some old English Electric Lightenings as well as the new Lightening II (F-35 joint strike fighter Harrier replacment). I don't think the eurofighters are that good. I would also love to see more designs with WWII and WWI aircraft on as well though and cold war jets like the Lightening and modern ones like the new Lightening II. Also not to forget things like the Vulcan bomber and Harrier. Would also be great to see some Aircraft Carriers, tanks and helicopters in the mix. Would be even better if there was a Dreadnought II to go along with the artwork
Great stuff!

Amazing picture of the PRS-22!
Am a big fan of pictures, where time lapse photography makes the second hand blurred :P
The DA36 has sweet promotional pics of this type.
That bracelet really looks the part as well.
Time lapse photography is different. :wink:Originally Posted by Pink Floyd

So the second hand is blurry even with the normal picture mode?
I reckoned the camera exposure would be too fast and would make the second hand look stationary, sans time-lapse.
:?:
Many of the pics you'll see on here of watches will have been taken with an exposure time of several second, which of course the second hand records as blurry. If however the crown has been opened then the second hand will appear stationary.Originally Posted by Pink Floyd

Ok.
Does opening the crown and using several second exp. time allow for greater depth of detail and sharpness or something, in comparison to using faster (normal speed) exposure time?

I'm digging that "spring wallpaper" shot. The PRS-10 looks so light and fluffy, makes me want to pick one up.
WOW!!! I just loved them. The most important thing that I loved about this is that the watches were displayed along with the deadly machines that share some similarities with watches. For instance the watches with the yellow dials were displayed with the fighter planes and the blue one that symbolises cool was patched with the submarines and the divers. Good selection indeed.
Thanks for some great wallpapers :D
