A lovely watch Java, I admire the clarity of the dial. I'm intrigued though, does that small circular depression serve any purpose?

It is decorative so serves no more purpose than the cabochon on the winder, the gold moon on the moonphase, and pretty much all of the hand engraving on the movement
    Edit
Oh unless you mean the little dot under 12 oclock. That indicates the year of the quantieme. :-)

Thanks very much, yes the dot under the 12 and if I translate/guess correctly a leap year indicator. Wow!

I didn't know wbaout the different colours! What are the others if leap year is red? Fascinating way of displaying the information.

wow - that is nice. Does the date rotate single digits at a time?

Yes on the GO panoramic dates the two wheels are at the same level and turn independently.

I like it a lot! I REALLLLY like it! Generally, I'm not a fan of the moonphase but in this case it works perfectly. And I guess the the finish must be over the top if they include a loupe :-)

I think the moonphase works so well because considering the amount of information provided on the dial, it is very clear and uncluttered. PCs are often very over complicated and difficult to read.

I must say i'm not usually a fan of these as the dial is out of balance on most. This one has a very nice symmetry to it.
