I love the work. Magrette used to do something similar iirc. Just doesn't suit that particular dial / handset in my opinion.
Saw this from a Taiwan account and the owner sent his watch from Hong Kong, brand new to Taiwan for this operation.

Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
I'm not sure I'd wear that if I was payed to.
I would!
Some great examples of similar work here ... http://www.kindlerthorpe.com/gallery.html
I admire the craftsmanship and even the subject matter, but it is not something that I would have done or even wear.
I love the metal work. Just doesn't seem to blend with the Milgauss second hand, tho'.
The more I look at it, the more I like it! Not really something I'd wear though, but I'd like to see a wrist shot on the owner.
To each his own. The workmanship is great but it reminds me why I like, say, a Speedy Pro on a strap so much - clean and functional design where everything clicks in place aestethically. But of course that's just my humble opinion and the owner of this watch would obviously beg to differ.
I wouldn't!
Clearly some great skills... reminds me of the TV AD where they spray paint the flower
It seems a shame that they couldn't spend the time and effort on something that didn't appear tacky...
I've never been into tattoos on anything! Very skilled though & whatever floats your boat I guess.
The Magrette engraving is amazing to look at but I personally would not buy one.
Would be a really nice gift to someone with a NZ connection.
Fanatstic carftsmanship but would suit a Datejust or Day-Date better. The Milgauss use is a mystery!
I can appreciate the work that has gone into this for sure, certainly won't see another like it no doubt their.I would assume a lot of people will have a problem
doing this to a Rolex,But! it's not like you would spend the sort of money you would have done to have this art done on a Seiko for eg, so I would only expect to see something like this done on an expensive watch anyway.
Yes I would wear it.
I would wear it for sure, but I'd hope to have another same model in the watch box.I wish.......lol
I like it, but it wouldn't be a watch I would wear every single day.
Yep, love it.
It's only flippers who would stress over this. Don't forget, most people keep a watch.
Well I reckon it looks great. Rather than just patterns it would be nice if it had a theme.
I do like it, but would I want one... probably not.
Anti-magnetic and anti-theft with this
I'm guessing it's a keeper then!
Personally I think it looks lovely, but then gain I like tattoos
“Don’t look back, you’re not heading that way.”
Hmm... looks interesting, but I can't imagine myself wearing that. It's "a bit" too much.
Beauty is a cruel mistress is it not ?
Milgauss is the work of art for itself.
It not need decoration, it is not canvas for someone's 'paintings'.
Although these etchings are very fine and I like them a lot, they belong somewhere else.
Not on Milgaus for the Christ sake.
For some reason I kinda like this.
However I think I would go for something like this Linde Werdelin tattoo found here: http://www.lindewerdelin.com/shop/ok...us-moon-tattoo
Lets see if this picture works.
I like it a lot and I also think that the design works well with the lightning flash second hand. You could argue that the designs clash on a cultural level I suppose. Zeus and his thunderbolt lobbing v maori gods of war and all that, but there is an martial theme that binds it all together.
No? Ok it was worth a punt. However I still like it.
