Not much for me, will end up watching Royle Family Christmas Special repeats as the team haven't given us anything new this year.

I remember as a kid the excitement when xmas radio/tv times arrived to see what the rivals had planned over the festive period. That feeling is soooo long gone

Three new episodes of Sherlock, starting on New Year's Day I think, should be worth watching. Not that inspired by anything else but it will be interesting to see what others are looking out for!

As usually any time of the year, i'll be stuck watching disney jr in the day and soaps in the evening. Anything i want to watch will be sky+'d.
Doesn't seem to have been advertised, but there's series 4 of mad dogs on sometime. Only a 2 parter, but is the finale apparantly. Really enjoyed it to beging with, lost it's way a bit, but will still watch it.

    Its on Saturday and Sunday

The last series was terrible but as this is the ending I'll watch it and hopefully it will tie everything up.

Moonfleet looks interesting on Sky. Actually looked at the xmas day listings on all channels yesterday and just sighed with disappointment

I/m looking forward to seeing a blank screen on the box, should it get switched on I’ll be out of the room and doing something - anything - else.

Not a grumpy old man as such, just think it’s nicer to have a break from the gogglebox and chat to others when it’s such a good opportunity to do so.

Danny 'F-ING' Dyer on Eastenders will undoubtedly be on TV at ours this year.

Call the Midwife should also be quite good and suitable for all the family.

I'll be tuned out & staring at the bronze of a boxer dog that's next to the TV while my wife comments incessantly on Soap Star A
vs. Soap Star B. (Sample: "She's lost weight this year." "He's getting a double chin." Blah, blah, blah...)

So it's the same as usual for me

Kids can play with new toys. Grown ups can chat and drink. No need for telly.

A few decent films on, but nowt else grabbing me.

I'm sure the remote will belong to the 710 over Christmas and the soaps will be on.
If I do manage to wrestle it away we'll be back on the History Channel watching Storage Wars and Pawn Stars repeats!

I remember the fake excitement generated over the Xmas day film, and how much the BBC had wasted out spending ITV.Which just made me think of Radio 1's 31 Days in May when they gave away exotic expensive prizes every day to listeners so that their figures increased enough to guarantee they could carry on squandering license payers money........oh wait, they still got it if nobody bothered to listen
