That is one big old beast. Handsome thing but way too big for me; which is my loss.

Great, great watch - especially nice to see a matching buckle, but that date window is terrible.

Overall, I love it! Great buy!

    Really nice looking watch!

Am I the only one that does not like the patina build up on these bronze/brass watches? I think if I owned one I would be cleaning it regularly to keep it looking brand new.

There is nothing right or wrong when it comes to patina. Some like the clean look, some like the extreme patina. The good thing with these bronze watches is, that you can make it just the way you prefer.

Lovely looking watch, congratulations! The hour markers are superb. How are you finding that buckle? I recently bought and posted pics of my Armida A7 which had a similar shaped and sized buckle - and for me it was just too bulky, so I have swapped for a NATO. You look to have considerably larger wrists than me so perhaps it isn't an issue!

    Thanks Tim63.. My wrist is 7,9inches (20cm)

I bought the buckle direct from Helsons web-site: http://www.helsonwatch.com/accessories.php

I have no problem with this buckle, it fits perfectly:-)

The strap is lovely, did that come with the watch? Really compliments the brass.

Henrik what a superb looker! Enjoy. As it changes colour you will engage with it even more. Then you can polish it and start all over again. A watch with a built in cycle.

    Congrats! Nice Diver.
I like Helson stuff but 47 mm is way to big for me.

I think the buckle on the A7 makes the strap really uncomfortable, I've ordered another one from BradJ on anchorleather.net
You could of course play with an old S/S buckle and a lighter.....

I'm tempted with the bronze SharkDiver 42, probably more comfortable on my 6.75" wrist...

    Great watch! Congrats!

I myself wouldn't go for a 47 mm watch... too big.

Really like that. I'd have to go for the smaller size, but it's a great design. That's a great choice of strap there as well - and good value as well.

Beautiful, on the plus side the intrinsic value of the bronze is worth it
