Quite pleased with this new arrival....

I have today taken delivery of a new watch
It's not a brand that i tend to like that much, design wise, except for this particular model. I have had a hankering for one of these for quite a while which i finally decided to satisfy.
Here it is...a Breitling SuperOcean heritage.

I could wax lyrical about it but i'll let my pictures do the talking. They are not the best but you get the idea i think.

These come in two sizes,42mm & 46mm,and although i am quite happy to wear large watches,i think this works best as a 42mm. I have it on rubber at the moment (which i quite like) but i may get a leather strap for it at some point.

    Happy Camper!

    Great looking watch.
Has been on my WTB list for a while, although I was considering the Blue dial / bezel

I'm not the world's biggest Breitling fan but that is a great looking watch. You def made the right choice going 42 mm. I think a leather strap will make it look even better.

Looks the dog's dang lies on a mesh.

Got to admit I've never been a fan of Breitlings however I would make an exception for this one, very nice.

Either on a rubber strap or the leather with contrast stitching.

Think you made a wise choice with the 42mm over the 46mm

    Congratulations

Its the only Breitling I would consider too. The bronze model on SC has had me checking my funds on a couple of occasions. Nice choice .

+1 - Breitlings have always been far too fussy and busy for my eye but this is really cool. I especially love the rose gold bezel version on a mesh bracelet. Dunno why but that really does it for me.

One of the best looking Breitlings imo, congrats =)

I'm another that's not normally keen on Breitling, - too busy for me. But this one's very nice!

Congrats, that's one Breitling anyone would find hard to object to, other than it is too simple, lol!

My favorite Breitling as well. Don't quite get the numberless bezel, though. I suppose you could still use it for timing but would take more than a glance to figure it out. As I only use my bezel for timing parking meters and things in the oven, I could probably adjust.

Congratulations! Great looking watch, I too like most Breitling watches as I have two myself Seawolf & aerospace.
I would like to pick one up myself at some point but there are a couple of Que jumpers ahead of this one. I'm not to sure on the rubber though would prefer leather or even better a mesh strap but hey, still great nonetheless

Very nice watch indeed. The first Breitling I have ever liked in fact.

It has a quiet restraint that I do not normally associate with this brand. I find it an impressive design indeed. Good choice, I bet you are as pleased as Punch

Really nice ; a good balance of style and quality

I echo other comments on here- don't really like Breitlings but that is very nice. What does the quality feel like compared to other brands?

The whole thing just feels 'right' if you get my drift. Date/time adjustment, bezel action, general feel etc are all superb.

Yes, that's the best looking Breitling in my opinion too. Rarely have I seen so much agreement in such a thread!

Looks super solid. I love breitlings, although some of their models are super shiny and bling and i dislike their celebrity based marketing, i still think they have excellent quality. Antireflective coating is probably the best in the industry i feel. congrats!!!

    Congrets on the choice.
Also very high on my wish list, but with green bezel.
Looks great on OEM mesh too.

Like the understated look of these.
If I weren't so hooked on my PO I would have one of these in it's place.

Great choice, I'm envious! I'm often tempted by the blue dial on the mesh. Beautiful watch.

I used to work with someone who had at least four of these! I noticed him wearing one at work and the next day I thought my memory was playing tricks because I was sure the colour had changed. When I asked him about it he said he has a few, in different colour combinations, because he likes the design so much! I'm suspecting he also earns a hell of a lot more than me.

It's the Breitling Super Ocean Heritage as mentioned in the OP.

    Great watch for a Breitling.

I'd almost go as far as to say I'd rather have this than a Rolex Sub.

That's very tasteful. The crown seems to sit out a long way though. Is it just the angle of the pic?

No...it's because I am a muppet and didn't screw it in before I took pics!

    Nice.

    Especially for a Breitling

Very nice, very simple (not a word I'd always quickly associate with Breitling!)
