Strangely I'm going to buy a play station this weekend... But a 3.

The combination of cheap or used games, free online play and reduced console prices have finally swayed men of the new consoles I think the ps4 is the one to have, but for me that's a 'next Christmas' thing.

Let us know what it's like!

I like the look of this console, I have not had a Playstation since the original one that is still going strong in one of my son 's rooms. I picked up a Xbox one last week that is fantastic, but still have the Xbox 360 set up as the the new consoles are not backward compatible. The Xbox 360 and PS3 are still great buys, good deals, many games and still good performance.

One thing I'm fairly sure about is that the new Steam boxes will have Sony and MS pretty worried.

I've kept the PS3, there's still a few games I've got left to play. The new controller really stands out, much more comfy.
