We already have these in stock. They’ll be available for the next two openings.

And I think the main production delay on the Mission Timers was due to the movements being a special order from ETA, not main production of the watch in the east.
Are we allowed to know how many of the 100 (of each type) are to be released in the batches? a third each time or so?

  4. #754
No problem at all. Yes they’re being released in 35 / 35 / 29 - apart from the DLC which is 28 as I already scrounged one :)

Looks like mine is coming tomorrow. I'll be at work but very much looking forward to seeing what it's like...

    Looks great, hows the bracelet?

Patiently waiting for mine. No postage notification yet, but off on holiday early Friday morning so I hope comes before then.

    17C 'Mission Timer'?

I have only just noticed that the crown is on the left which is quirky but I like it and I assume there is a practical reason.

Considered Tactical to keep out of harm's way and prevent catching on things, like the Sinn EZM1.

Though as the case is more Tutima than Sinn, also with the flat pushers, I would have preferred a RHD arrangement like Tutima ZTZ as this is the reason for the flat pushers.

I have a couple of NATOs that I am hoping will look good on this, any chance of a picture of yours on the NATO?

I have just had confirmation that mine will be delivered tomorrow but there will be nobody in and UPS won't let you change to a collection point until they have tried to deliver !!!

My DLC arrived today and I'm very happy with it. It's a lovely watch. Only problem for me is that my wrist is a little bit larger than the bracelet. (Yes, my wrist is very large at the moment).

I've spoken to Eddie and he can order some links in but first of all I wonder if anyone has any spare DLC links? Happy to discuss a price with you.

A quick pic because we all like pics:

P.S. The chrono was running when I took the pic. The hands do reset to zero. :-)

If I can find them you can have the spare links from mine. I’ll search the office tomorrow, I assume they’re in there.

Apart from the "tactical" answer, having the crown and pushers on the left also means that the running seconds are at 12, exactly where they are on the NaBo 17 cockpit clock that inspired this dial design.

ps - waiting patiently (not) for mine.

Got home late due to bad weather causing problems on the roads. Too dark to size the bracelet so chucked it on a Barton rubber to take a quick pic

This is gonna keep me awake at night with this lume :)

Sinn Nabo 17 50/50 on the sub-dial placement. Both positions used at least by Sinn.
Different movements and different functions though, so yes I think original ones were at 12.
Just think the dial is too obscured by the resting hands, and the tactical remit is taken care of by flat pushers (and a less deep crown ?)
Each their own as I say.

All looking great so far. Though, Mark, is your chrono hand slightly off, or was it running at the time of the pic?

Fortunately I've found some 22mm Natos I had left over from when my Orient Mako was my daily wearer!

It was running when I took the pic and was at 59 seconds. :-)

The hands reset spot on to zero.

I'm not a bracelet person and I wear it on the right normally.

Not sure if it's a keeper yet but the biggest plus point is the independent hour hand for travelling. Marvellous.
It's a lume monster too - just from the walk outside to the garden and back it's beaming.

I had one in the basket at one point, but have too many quartz watches I don't wear, so didn't go through with it, but I'm wavering now, the photos look good.

You can move the hour hand without disturbing the minutes, there are two stops when you pull out the crown.

A very useful feature of the movement.

    I see its been covered.

Looks better on a rubber than I thought it would.

Hoping I'm able to order next time the shop opens.

My DLC arrived today, I'm pretty impressed! The bracelet is pretty small - it's a perfect fit for my 8" wrist with no links removed and the micro adjustment set at max, so anyone with a bigger wrist will struggle.
The lume is much better than I expected.

Managed to get enough adjustment in the clasp without taking any links out. I’ll take the links out at the weekend.

I know this isn’t the ‘correct’ tactical style for this watch, but…

I like t. The taper on the strap works really well, and that version is not totally tactical, so it looks fine.

Sizing the bracelet was straightforward and I have really enjoyed wearing this today.
I particularly like the matt/bead blasted colours, the lume and the crown/pushers position.
The diameter works well for me but (genuine question) did it need to be this thick given that it’s quartz?
The bracelet looks good, wears well and tapers nicely to the buckle but doesn’t feel all that substantial so I will keep looking for other strap options.
Overall though I am quite impressed.

Sorry I should have added that I like the shrouded lugs and the bezel action is good at this price point too.
