I'll be interested to see photos of the final watch, renders rarely reflect the way a watch will look in reality, but I still think it's a shame the secondary hands went to orange.

Having said I was disappointed in a lot of the design choices from the original idea of a 17C reissue, I have to say that looks great!

Yep, that'll do nicely, thank you. I will join the scrum with trepidation for one of these.

The matte white hands look like they are steel ( whie would be better) otherwise looks the business.

That is so cool and sharp. I love the case-shape and "all the angles and transitions". It looks so much better than the renders.

    Eeek, that's mighty fine.

Sadly my excitement is somewhat tempered by the likelihood of being able to snag one.

There shouldn't be much problem with these once the issue with the Everests slows down.

I hope so, I'm a sucker for centre minutes.

I was hoping for the mission timer in the original 17 case, but this tangential departure has really caught my eye.

Mission timer and commander next year.

No more releases next year please Eddie.

Looking at this again, I wonder whether the crown might be better a little further into the case, less proud.
With no date and quartz movement, it is not likely to get used that much, so closer intot the case would improve it for me...

Are the Facebook photos of the production run then, not the prototype?
EDIT - Never mind, I see that it is.

So I wonder when it is incoming

I can see the good logic in this but I think the crown works well proportionally with the chrono pushers as it is.

I wonder if there is an approximate arrival date for this?

I was thinking the same too. If the crown went in, then the pushers would stick out (more).

EP said on fb that he was just awaiting the bracelets.

With all the choices that needed to have been made, I think that the final product looks great. I am very excited to see this Timefactors watch come to realisation.

    Kind regards

Sorry if I’ve missed this already - is the crown push or screw down, please?

I have such good memories of my 17C that this feels like a really good idea! Just been through the development history in the thread to remind myself of how it got here.

So, just a bunch of patience and optimism that one can be acquired!

Looks good (especially silver with the black bezel, imo).

I wonder what the price will be?

I'd planned not to buy anymore watches this year, too!

I wonder, though, if the left side chrono buttons might be a bit awkward to use? I wear my watch on my left wrist and use my right index finger to work the buttons usually.

I will watch this one with anticipation...

Wear one of your chronos upside down for a day and see how it feels to be using your thumb instead.

When one normally uses a right-pusher chrono, one usually holds the watch case with the thumb where this pusher is, so it is actually very intuitive using chrono this way round.

They look great. All 3 (but I "only" want 2 of them).
Shame I stand so little chance getting one.

Silver/black for me please :-), but maybe this might become my first DLC watch, albei I dont know how sturdy it will be, a scratch in stainless steel is much easier to overlook than a scratch in DLC, if it cuts through to the shiny bit s underneath I suppose.

    Everything about that looks awesome!

EDIT: during the course of today I've already changed my mind from s/s with black bezel to the full DLC loveliness :)

PVD/DLC look great when new and even better a few years down the line when worn a little like the old CWC, Tags, Squale and Sinns. (imho)

No doubt the 1st few dinks hurt though.

These look great though. Love a 9 o clock crown

I'll be after the DLC version, it looks spot-on to me.

Buttons are on the wrong side for me, so I’m still holding out for the PRS40 chrono, which is a sort of in between solution, button wise ;)

Here is a little treat for you. Certainly was a treat for me.
I do a spot of writing for the Watchgecko magazine, and asked Eddie if I could borrow a Mission Timer or two for review.
He said yes, and I submitted my review and (sadly) returned all 3 versions today.

Here is a photo to whet your appetites

When the review goes live I shall link it to this thread so that you can have a read.
Believe me, this watch will not disappoint. Far from it.

Dave, when timing, after an hour does the timer stop, or does it roll over?

It keeps going. If you set the bezel to the hour hand at the start, you can use it to make a 12hr chrono. One of the otger renders had a 0-12 bezel fot just that reason.

Excellent - my Stuckx watch with an hour chrono stops on the hour - quite annoying.

Looking forward to seeing some wrist shots.

Personally speaking, of course, this doesn't look quite so appealing in that photo as I thought it would from the renders.

Based on it alone, I've switched to preferring the black-coated one, but I really don't need another black watch.

I'm sure, though, it'll be a huge success, and who knows, next photo may have me wanting all 3 versions
