White House Down
Up there with the worst films I've ever had the misfortune of watching....
This seemed important enough (to me) to start a thread separate from the "Good Movies" one...
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy film is terrible... every major character was badly mis-cast, it glossed over the actual Guide, it rushed through important bits - left other important bits out entirely - and added completely superfluous bits.
It is a shell of a film - like scaffolding for a stunning building they forgot to build. Even the presence of Zooey Deschanel fails to lift it to anything more than an abomination of a movie ;(

I watched Movie 43 last night. It was actually pretty good, despite the terrible reviews and current 7% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

I tried watching a film called Hunter Prey, had to turn it off after 10 minutes, just shockingly bad!

"A Liar's Autobiography" - Monty Python's animated film of Graham Chapman's book.
I'd read and enjoyed the book about 20 years ago. This film version? Very flat, dour and unfunny.
World war z ...awful

Blade Runner - Directors Cut.
Didn't do it for me.
Pacific Rim, fell asleep twice whilst watching it.
Ah, now... BR is one of my favourite films. I understand why other's dislike it - and the Director's cut over the Theatre cut especially - but for me the look, feel and sound of it make it a watershed film, but this is not to say that Scott's style overshadows Dick's substance.
Hurhur :)
Every Wednesday me and some of the lads have a film night at someone's house and set out to watch a badgood film - so trashy, gory, cheap, tacky that it's good. Strippers v werewolves, cockneys v zombies, that sort of thing.
Last night was "Bad Milo" - watch it if you haven't. One man's struggle against an ass demon. Yup, a demon that lives up his butt. Groundbreaking cinema.
Oh come on!
Who couldnt fail to be moved by the girl on the White House lawn waving the stars and stripes to let the jet fighter pilots know not to fire their missiles.
Cinematic genius!
Anyway, I ll raise you Grown Ups 2 . A bsolutely foul, with no hint at humour anywhere.
The worst movie I ever watched was "Supervan" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070756/)
I think I was about 10 when I watched it but it scarred me for life!
Surrogates - was 99p film of the week on iTunes...
& that's 98p too much

Crash (David Cronenberg). What a pile of poo.
I've not seen it but apparently Sharknado is a classic.
AfterEarth - absolutely dreadful film! Also Only God Forgives (Ryan Gosling) - I really did not enjoy that, which is a shame because Drive was so good in my opinion!
Pacific Rim and Europa Report, both dreadful.
Russell Crowe - Iron Fist.
Eddie
Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
I picked up "Sharknado" at the supermarket yesterday. I expect it to be superbly awful.
My wife is a big fan of "Anaconda" which is so risible it transcends the awful and becomes almost awesome.
So clever my foot fell off.
2 shockers I've watched recently.
Man on a ledge and A true shocker called Faster with "The Rock"
You have to remove your brain to watch Faster and just come to terms with the fact that one man is capable of eluding a complete Police force whilst driving around in a dark green Chevy Chevelle with a striped roof.
Ignore the fact you can also shoot someone point blank in the face without causing any visible injury or spilling 1 drop of blood.
Total shit,start to finish.

You won't be disappointed, or perhaps you will. Its bad.

Pacific Rim
Kick Ass 2
Grown Ups
World War Zzz
Oblivion
All dogsh!t.
That's just gone on my watch list.
Sharknado is only ok and doesn't quite capture the cheesy B-movie so bad it's funny vibe for me. It struck me as a collection of scene ideas rather than a coherent (if daft) film. Ditto Arachnoquake.
Oh and I gather there will be a Sharknado sequel starring Jedward.
I may just be becoming a bit jaded with B-movies/creature features though. Still yet to find anything that hits the highs of Megashark vs. Giant Octopus. Although the second half of Shark Attack 3 ran it close.
In answer to the original question - Birdemic 2. Awful. First film was terrible (though had amusing reviews on imdb) and was something of a test of endurance to watch - I ended up rooting for the birds and wanting all the "heroes" to die.
Couldn't really believe they made a sequel so tried to watch it out of a morbid sense of curiosity. I have a very high B-movie tolerance but I only made it about 15 minutes through before I started fast-forwarding to see if any of it was worth watching.
"Oblivion"
Thats where it sent me after 30 minutes
Spectre.... wow, worst Bond in quite some time... (and yes, worse than Skyfall).
Monster Hunter. Dire. I should know that films based on video games are to be avoided, especially as I don't play video games. The script was taken directly from 'Guide to how American soldiers speak to each other, really'. The editor was obviously paid per cut. Even the normally comely Milla Jovovich (wife of the director, as it happens) was not worth a you-know-what, challenging or otherwise.
Surprised this thread wasn't more active given all the time we've had during lockdown(s) to watch terrible movies!
Anyway, allow me to recommend "The VelociPastor" - here's the summary:
After losing his parents, a priest travels to China, where he inherits a mysterious ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. At first horrified by this new power, a hooker convinces him to use it to fight crime. And ninjas.
Air Force One. I've been meaning to watch this for a long time being a Harrison Ford fan. It was so cringeworthy I gave up after a very short time.
The Ritual Killer - Can't believe Morgan Freeman agreed to be in this.
Absolutely pathetic ending.
Andy
Wanted - Damasko DC57
Not sure I should admit to this, but I watched 'Raise the Titanic' yesterday. Never seen it before. Call it morbid curiosity.
The Unbearable Weight is so shockingly bad, I can’t believe it took me over half an hour to abort. It is by far the worst film I’ve seen in years. Its not funny, clever or entertaining its just pants!

65 - don't bother
Just finished Up In The Air with George Clooney. Seen two or three times now and a nice relaxing watch. The sad Brad smith song is right up there as one of my favourites
