    Lucky, lucky, lucky.........!

Got one! (despite my card issuer declining the transaction at the first attempt because the payment program tests the account first by debiting £1, then comes back for the rest. Funny that - bought another watch from Eddie earlier this week with no issues whatsoever....!
Time was definitely running out on this one...my sympathies to others experiencing difficulties.

Looking at posted order numbers and the time I ordered I got one of the last of this batch. Not bothered about serial number just happy to have placed order.
No my first watch from Eddie but one I have been waiting for for a long time.

Already one on that place that shall not be named for £2250 BIN. How desperate do you need to be?

Is that not a PRS2 DN? Been on for a while with no takers?

Indeed. That was the peak DN price. On SC they now seem to go for £1800 or so, depending on kit.

I cant see myself ever paying anything like that for one when I can have the same thing with an added GMT function for a £1000 less!

It's a different watch! From Eddies description:

"Instead of just sticking a GMT movement in the existing Dreadnought case, the watch has been completely re-designed from scratch."

But I do agree with you.

I did! I'd missed the first batch and was waiting for the reopening. I was a little nervous I'd miss out altogether so when it popped up it was a no brainer. My first TF watch and obviously not my last.

Congratulations to Eddie on the first 100 DN-GMTs flying out like they did — quite a watch.

Just as an observer, one of the things that especially stands out to me about the TF Dreadnoughts is their bracelets. That’s odd for me because though I think both the earlier and current models have an aesthetically excellent and very appealing look on their bracelets, were one of the DNs mine, it would probably end up on various NATOs most of the time, if not almost exclusively, only because I tend to gravitate toward NATOs, etc., for divers and such, and away from wearing metal for whatever personal reasons.

Despite that, I very much think that both the new and original TF Dreadnoughts have [solid] end-links that appear to be done so well as to aesthetically transition from bracelet to case with near perfection, something I think is quite rare in that the end-links of most metal braceleted watches do quite a bit less well to very poorly in that regard, appearing more or less aesthetically discordant or disruptive to my eye usually.

I also think one of the new PRS-21's best features, as with the original DN before it, is the use of this type screwed lugbars which I think an excellent compromise between military fixed lugbars and the usual commercial market springbars, provided one uses removable blue LocTite or clear women's nail polish on the threads each time the screwbars are reassembled to the case after each strap change, etc.,. I personally hope screwed lugbars like those on the DNs become a more commonly appreciated and available option someday

As an aside, the bracelet on the DN used removable screws at both ends of the bar whereas on the DN GMT it is one removable screw: the other end of the bar being a fixed-head.

A nice arrangement that makes removing/replacing easier.

I'll wait and see what this one looks like on a 6.5" wrist, that's once we get past the 500 pictures of new GMT's being snapped next to weird stuff, or splashed with water to give it that 'deep sea' look

Hope we will be given pre-sale info of when the second batch goes on sale, I was out working at the time and missed out.

Well done to those who purchased one, and well done to Eddie on the success of the piece.

I've printed all the orders off and discovered that 111 got through before the shopping cart caught up with the stock. No problem though, the second batch will arrive before I've finished shipping the first batch. So far, 14 people have requested 007 and 6 people requested 013 (5 were unlucky).

So that's 111 plus yours and Ralphy's. Anybody else got in early? Leaving c. 85 for the next sale?

Can you show us a pic of the rubber strap?

Thanks for mentioning it, Ralphy, and great to know. I think that is lugbar engineering at its very best

It loses the effect though in such a long number. 007/200 would make sense but I guess it shows that it's not a limited number. I can't think what number I'd've chosen, 1 maybe to get it quicker?
    What's the 03 signify?

I think the 16 x 007's are a Limited Edition in that that's all that will be made and with the added benefit of being on a Bond Nato rather than rubber which everyone else will have to put up with.
